How about a contest using this method for the final 7 weeks.
We draft next week and use total points from week 10 - 16.
14 teams using the UFS system. (that round 3 swing thing)
$50 each (more for sh_ts and grins and to test the idea live)
1st - 60% ($420)
2nd - 40% ($280)
DC format, no wire. 20 rounds is plenty for 7 weeks.
Draft: some agreable time and date next week on MDC.
UFS - your choice, invite only or fcfs?

To me this industry is in its infant stage of development. It is a movement that is growing and thus, it must adjust to meet the needs of the masses.
Why not let the fanatics discuss how to improve the game for all concerned? Why not discuss every aspect of the game to try and improve it?
Yes, a lot of it sounds like whining and might just be, but a fair amount of it is constructive and could lead to a better concept.
Remember the early WCOFF? We discussed numerous items to death and some of them created change that has helped them grow to the level they are today.
