Thanks, got it,and it seems very smooth, looking forward to using it in a couple of hours. The default rankings are set up nicely on the Flash version. Download the Flash from the link there if you don't have it because the Flash version is better to use right now than the HTML version. Tom, you can also adjust the player default rankings by clicking on the DRAFT link then DRAFT PREP. There you can set up that player default list just the way you want it for tonight's draft. Should be fun with plenty of smack talking in the Chat Room. I'll lead the way!! :D See you all there.

Shut Up, Sit Down and Draft!! Looking For Volunteers

Wow, that was the quickest, most enjoyable NFFC online draft I've ever done in June!!! :D What a great group of owners and a competitive group indeed. Nice.

I'll post the first six rounds of this draft tomorrow online. We'll play this one out for a little prize at season's end. Bragging rights are more on the line, but I think everyone learned a little bit tonight and got the football juices going. We also received some good input on the draft software, which worked very well. No rollbacks, no glitches, just one short stop. Very, very smooth thanks to these great owners.

Okay, from the 1 hole, here is my team. Others will post theirs shortly:

QB - Tony Romo
QB - Tim Tebow
QB - Carson Palmer

RB - Arian Foster
RB - Joseph Addai
RB - Brandon Jacobs
RB - Ronnie Brown
RB - Bernard Scott
RB - Ricky Williams

WR - Vincent Jackson
WR - Stevie Johnson
WR - Santana Moss
WR - Derrick Mason
WR - Randy Moss
WR - Jacoby Jones

TE - Chris Cooley
TE - Anthony Fasano

K - Mason Crosby
D - Pittsburgh

Thoughts?

If I'm wrong I apologize, but i can't remember a draft that went as smooth as this one did. I know we're playing for nothing, but I also know that everyone drafted as if it meant something. There still may be a few glitches in the system, but all-in-all, it was a pleasant experience tonight. Thanks to Greg and Tom for being there for us.

Fun draft last night, with a great group of owners!

Bill, we are playing for something...BRAGGING RIGHTS! ;)

Jules, I wouldn't worry about Britt getting anything for his most recent lack of judgement, as there will surely be a couple more before the season even starts.

As for the draft room, it ran VERY smoothly. I think there are some minor tweaks that would help (I know a draft board is coming)....

1) Put a team next to the player. It shows up once they are picked, but not before. I know Mark Moyer selected J.Cook/TE, but I still had another J.Cook/TE in my cue.

2) Have some sort of notification (bell, "now it's your turn", etc.) to notify of pick.

3) Possibly find a way to get the chat room on the screen while being able to see picks? Not a huge deal, but I find the chat room obsolete when I can't see it with the picks at the same time.

At first I didn't like the fact that once the last pick of each round was made that it skipped down to the next round, but I kinda like it now. Adds a little anticipation!! Of course you can just see it in the chat as well.

As for my team from the #3, I would be OK going to battle with this squad. #3 WR is a concern, but everyone has a weakness somewhere (realized Garrard had same bye week as Stafford so picked up Campbell too).

QB- Matthew Stafford
QB- David Garrard
QB- Jason Campbell
QB- Shaun Hill

RB- Jamaal Charles
RB- DeAngelo Williams
RB- Felix Jones
RB- Ben Tate

WR- Miles Austin
WR- Mario Manningham
WR- Earl Bennett
WR- Nate Washington
WR- Mike Sims-Walker
WR- Leonard Hankerson
WR- Golden Tate

TE- Antonio Gates
TE- Kellen Winslow

K- Billy Cundiff

D- Philadelphia

Recovery Boys 14
Rd Player Bye Pos
1 Larry Fitzgerald 6 WR
2 Greg Jennings 8 WR
3 Marques Colston 11 WR
4 Shonn Greene 8 RB
5 Jahvid Best 9 RB
6 Mikel Leshoure 9 RB
7 Zach Miller 8 TE
8 Ryan Williams 6 RB
9 Josh Freeman 8 QB
10 Danario Alexander 5 WR
11 Emmanuel Sanders 11 WR
12 Colt McCoy 5 QB
13 Heath Miller 11 TE
14 Mohamed Massaquoi 5 WR
15 Toby Gerhart 9 RB
16 Kansas City 6 DEF
17 Dion Lewis 7 RB
18 Antonio Brown 11 WR
19 Josh Brown 5 PK
20 280

Thats my team from the 14,and i echo the thoughts of others here,i REALLY like the draftroom, easy to navigate, simple to use, which is what cement heads like me need.
Observations.
Tom K stole my mendy,so i took his Jennings, and Greg took my STEELERS way too early, but it still bummed me out a great deal. ;)
I really like Wayne Ellis team, the coltsfan did a fine job,and it was great to draft with such a prepared, excellent group, had a blast.
