Dumb Rule about Free Agents

look I am still going to play this year but next year is looking doubtful. Its not just the FA thing but the scores dont update live and the set up of the web page isnt that great. I really think after the first waiver period there should be another one. The next day or a couple days after. I understand not being able to pick up players and drop at will because of strategy but give us a couple waiver pick ups in the week just in case someone does get out bid on all there players.

ZEUS feel the pain as i have Winslow and Sheffler in 2 leagues and Winslow and Bo Scaife.The NBC league their is nothing i can do and will take the zero, but one of the other leagues is CBS and went to the waiver wire today and grabbed Mercedes Lewis .I guess he's better than nothing, but wish we did have the rule you can pick up who ever you want after the free agent process.This would have helped in the hurricane problem also. I HATE ZERO'S.

People will bash Zeus, but I really feel like this is one of the main reasons why High-stakes FF will not grow like most want it to.

People like to be able to have aplayer to play. There really is no good reason to restrict it the way it is now.

Now I can get bashed to take some heat off of Zeus.

Hey Russ, it's called roster management. We are all playing under the same rules, eventually we all deal with these issues. Suck it up and deal with it.

Hate to be so bold, but the whining is beyond annoying. Are we not adults playing HIGH STAKES FF? It's not called HOLD YOUR HAND FF or CRUTCHES PROVIDED FF.

BTW, I'm really mad that I cannot pick up Patrick Cobbs right now. I am able to in my free Yahoo leagues! :rolleyes:

Main Stream allows for pickups after Friday. It's as easy as that.

If the high-stakes community wants to continue in an elitist-type of way, and not have rules that are geared for the main stream, then the sport will not grow at the high-stakes level.

Since most high-stakes players are so good, you'd think they'd want any rule that would bring in more dead money.

That's just not the case, because they want to be able to say "look at us, we play with tougher rules". Well these rules aren't going to grow the sport IMO.

I'm not whining, I'm arguing a point. I hope you can see the difference.
