Monday Morning Countdown

I'll try to do this little countdown each Monday or Tuesday.

++++ Go to Adrian Peterson and Drew Brees. They showed everyone why they were the top picks at each of their positions.

10- The difference between Donovan McNabb's rushing yards (27) and Steve Slaton's rushing yards (17)... And Slaton was the one who came out of the game healthy.

9- Yards receiving for DeSean Jackson....He told anyone that would listen that he was looking to double last years 64 receptions....Good luck with that, DeSean!

8- Yards receiving for Greg Olsen....Hey, its eight more than Merlin and Nellie got

7- Running backs with 80 or more yards....Proof that this is the year of the receiver

6- Wide Receivers with 100 yards...OK, maybe not

5- Running backs used by Denver....They have gone beyond rbbc and started an orgy

4- Interceptions for Jay Cutler... I knew it! Cutler can only throw at high altitude.

3- Dallas receivers are in the top 6 in the league for yards per catch...Raise your hands if you think this trend continues.

3- Receivers who caught at least eight passes...Are you sure this is the year of the receiver? Hightower leads the world and even tight end Heath Miller caught eight passes. By the way Pittsburgh has three of the top six leading pass catchers in football...raise your hand if...never mind

2- Running backs with multiple touchdowns....Yikes

1.5- Willie Parker's yards per carry

1.4- Frank Gore's yards per carry

1.3- Kevin Smith's yards per carry

1- Receptions for Braylon Edwards....A Sleeper off the field and on

0- Receptions for Matt Forte and Michael Turner...Their coaches and quarterbacks should be commended for not using their best weapons on the field...sarcasm, folks

-1 Ladell Betts rushing total...Did he take a knee?

----(minuses) Goes to Jake Delhomme. No truth to the rumor that the word 'Delhomme' means "Man that suck" in Arabic. There isn't, but he does.

Nice job! Very entertaining!!!

I think the Panthers should sign either of 2 Jeffs immediately, Garcia or George! Who cares Delhomme's contract. He is TOAST!
