3rr wasn't about balance from the beginning. It was about perceived balance.

If you look at the leaders in stats through week 2 The only Top 5 list that is good from any cheatsheet rankings standpoint are the QB's. WR's and RB's are mixed with tier 1 and tier 3/4 guys.

QB's
1. Peyton Manning
2. Carson Palmer
3. Tom Brady
4. Jay Cutler
5. Marc Bulger
WR's
1. Chad Johnson
2. Randy Moss
3. Steve Smith
4. Andre Johnson
5. Jerricho Cotchery

RB's
1.Travis Henry
2.Jamal Lewis
3.Willie Parker
4.Lamont Jordan
5.Edgerrin James

Who'd think any of these lists would look like this besides the QB's after week 2? 3RR is not responsible for people performing to lastyear standards. We go into these leagues based on "PROJECTIONS" and make decisions from there.

That's an inaccurate list for this contest, here is the correct list:

RB
1. Lamont Jordan

4. Joseph Addai
5. Adrian Peterson

If you are only using top 5, I would say that WR actually has the least variance from the cheatsheets.

That's why I said stats. And it still further proves the fact that the whole year needs to play out before making a judgement call on 3RR.

The bigger question is are more people mad that they aren't winning because they took LT2 or SJ or that 3RR really seems to not have worked at all?

My preference (after 1 and 2) was 13 all around. I guess I got "lucky" with the 1. :rolleyes: If the strength of these teams is coming from the first two rounds ... going back to the old way will not change a thing.

If the strength of these teams is coming from rounds three and after ... your not going to make things more even by adding LT and SJ to those teams.

The balance of 3RR can be proved with math and is a math issue just like odds of a dice roll. If you roll a "clean" dice ... you have a 1 in 6 of rolling a five. It's pretty funny to have someone talking about they rolled a dice and came up with 4 fives in 15 rolls of the dice to prove the math wrong.

It would take many years (not leagues) to prove the math wrong with data since all leagues this year are using the same player data (one set of the same player data which all the leagues use is one occurance).

...and last years success of the top 3 draft picks had more to do with LT and LJ than anything to do with the lack of 3rr.
