P.S.
Next year, you can add US to that list! :D (Mike Sanda)

Perhaps one could do the same by pointing out how the $100,000 checks seem to disproportionately visit the Windy City. :D :D :D

Bob squad - some people believe that the 100K winner comes from the weakest or one of the weaker leagues...which is how he can amass such a great team. just say'n
"perhaps one could do the same" was me pointing out that one could use the same flawed logic ...

I am Wayne Ellis' co-owner in Chicago 3. I love the trash talk - I'll gladly tell you why my family, high school, college and grocery store are better than yours. But that group of drafters was seriously the toughest I have ever experienced.

How about giving us a little more than one guy making one mistake to label the league the weakest in the history of FF.

Luck in FF is like a game of Russian Roulette. The BWaz's of the world only have one bullet to spin - the rest of us have two. It's still mostly luck, but ...

Dave Cushard (Dyv)- see above

I'd like to see another league that has 5+ PROVEN players.

Yep, this is a weak league.....
So many proven players, yet all of you missed out on Schouman??? :D

In all seriousness, didn't mean to call you out here Godsmack....but c'mon!!!

Next year, please consider drafting in NY....those in Chicago obviously don't appreciate you....thanks. ;)
My League is tougher than your League. Oh, you are in my League. :D That was one of the toughest if not toughest League I have ever drafted in. Glenn was this a deeper group than the Platinum League? I think it is.

Mike Sanda(Sandman62) is unknown now, but I say that will change real soon. Mike again Good Luck this week!

During the draft sitting in seat 4(pick 1.04) Mike(Sandman62) says nothing seems to be falling in this draft, Glenn looks at him and says,'Sir nothing will fall in this League'. :D Glenn that was very funny and oh so true. That and standing and clapping when Dave finally picked his first QB. :D Fun times!
OK,my "show me another league..." was a poor choice of wording. The point is there are "quality leagues" in EACH city, and EACH may have an owner or two that does something which "the FAAB police" (AKA Gekko) deem a poor transaction or a bid that "isn't fair".

I know if Mark went to Chicago this year, his league would be the toughest ever, and he would of been on the short end of the stick in every FAAB session.

And so go the Days of Our Lives (cue the music) ;)

I'll leave it all at that, except that when Mark passes out next Saturday night in Baltimore, he is getting 14 kicks in his nuts....one for each owner of Chicago Classic 3 that he disrespected!

Check that, 56 kicks.....one for each owner who drafted in Chicago that he disrespected!! :D

Gekko

Description of Hasty Generalization:
This fallacy is committed when a person draws a conclusion about a population based on a sample that is not large enough. It has the following form:

Sample S, which is too small, is taken from population P.
Conclusion C is drawn about Population P based on S.
The person committing the fallacy is misusing the following type of reasoning, which is known variously as Inductive Generalization, Generalization, and Statistical Generalization:

X% of all observed A's are B''s.
Therefore X% of all A's are Bs.
The fallacy is committed when not enough A's are observed to warrant the conclusion. If enough A's are observed then the reasoning is not fallacious.

BTW - I did copy/paste that from the web.

If I wanted to throw logic out the window I might try to prove that New York 2 wasn't all that strong. The bottom 2 scorers in week one and three of the bottom 14 in week 2? ;)

PS. I've lived 40 years with the last name Swallows, so my panties don't 'bunch' easily.
