Satellite league, from the #12 position

Starters
Flacco, Joe QB BAL 5 PIT
Forte, Matt RB CHI 8 ATL
Turner, Michael RB ATL 8 @CHI
Jacobs, Brandon WR/RB/TE NYG 7 @WAS
Boldin, Anquan WR BAL 5 PIT
Colston, Marques WR NO 11 @GB
Nelson, Jordy WR GB 8 NO
Davis, Vernon TE SF 7 SEA
DST, Minnesota DST MIN 4 @SD
Hartley, Garrett K NO 11 @GB

Bench
Barber, Marion B CHI 8 ATL
Burleson, Nate B DET 9 @TB
DST, St. Louis B STL 9 PHI
Henderson, Devery B NO 11 @GB
Kolb, Kevin B ARI 6 CAR
Jones James B GB 8 NO
Tebow, Tim B DEN 6 OAK
Ward, Derrick B HOU 11 IND
Watson, Benjamin B CLE
--------------------------------------------------------------
This is a 14 team league. I think the team is solid, but we'll see what happens.... I went against the grain and took Turner in Rd 1 then Forte (who I think has a monster year) and then gambled on Colston in Rd 3 as he was clearly the best WR left (as long as he's healthy).
I never lost a game. I only ran out of time. Bobby Layne
Kid....if you're going to make it in this league, you're going to have to learn to drink. Bobby Layne

I like Forte but you definitely reached for Turner. Hes been mostly lasting till mid 3rd round. I wont be targeting any of the WR you have. Jordy is more of a 5th WR than a 3rd. You better cross your fingers and hope Colston stays healthy and you find a good waiver wire WR. I think you will probably be starting burleson over nelson. good luck

Another 12 team OC tonight. Strange draft. QBs flew off the board...even faster than usual. I got caught flatfooted when people with elite QBs started taking 2nd QBs in Rounds 8 and 9 (??).

Out of the 6 spot. IMO, the only question about this team is the QBs I like Bradford alot, but I wish he wasn't my NO. 1. I tried to make up for quality with quantity and try to play matchup. Otherwise, I think this is team is deep and strong. Really deep and strong at WR.

QBs:

Bradford
Kolb
Fitzpatrick

RB:

J. Charles
F. Jones
R. Grant
D, Carter
S. Ridley
M. Barber

WR:

V. Jackson
Welker
Steve Johnson
A. Boldin
AJ Green
R. Meachem

TE:
Gronkowski
Greshem
Fred Davis

Yeah, those WRs are sick. Your team's success will hinge on Bradford and Kolb just being solid. If they do that, your WR depth and quality RBs should help you do well. I'm a big believer in taking a stud QB if you can, but this team is a very good example of the type of talent and depth you can amass at other positions if you wait and hope to land a couple of upside QBs later.

Therein lies one of the challenges of waiting on QBs - though it makes the rest of your roster look great, it's no easy task picking between QB2s each week for your lineup. If one of them really breaks out, your team will flourish. If not, you could end up picking the one who scores 10 each week instead of the one that scores 20+.

Yep. If I could do it over, I would have taken Stafford or Freeman instead of Ryan Grant. I just didn't expect people to draft QBs in the 2nd round and then again in 8th round. Lesson learned.

Let me just say I now remember why I don't like the 14 team format anymore, LOL! Add in the fact it's been two years since I last did a DC and things didn't go according to plan. I also will add that I apparently am that guy you want in online drafts cause 4 times I hit the wrong draft button. They were all late picks so I didn't bother too have the draft stopped. Please tear me apart....it's only a $60 DC anyway.
QB Schaub Cassell Palko Leinart
RB Gore Greene Stewart Choice Forsett Dixon Goodman Todman J White
WR R White Bowe Floyd Crabtree Driver Simpson Gaffney Heyward-Bey Damien Williams
TE Pettigrew Keller Julius Thomas D Walker
K Crosby Tynes
Def Baltimore Seattle
Got swiped bad on 3 picks Jimmy Graham Lee Evans and Rashad Jennings the pick before I was set to go.....oh well it was fun.

GREAT RBs and WRs. But don't forget that the opposite of upside is downside. ;) Your QBs and TEs are weak and will require flirting with upside and avoiding downside.
