Rob, can you do draft slot analysis on:

Brady
Moss
Welker
Big Ben
Favre
Westbrook
AP
Housh
TO
B.Edwards

Wouldn't these have more meaning as to which spots did better?

John,

I am working on putting every draft into a spreadsheet. I then plan on doing some serious crunching but that will take most of the off-season to do as it will be thousands of lines of data to organize and review.

For all the greif that Chicago League 6 was being given earlier this year on these boards, the league currently has the 4th highest league point total.

Okay, now that all of the bye weeks are done, it's time to get down to business and find some champions. Here are the quick facts after Week 10 of the NFFC season:

** For the third straight week, two spots (No. 6 and No. 14) weren't represented among the Top 36 teams in total points. The top team from the sixth spot is now 81st overall and the top spot from the 14th spot is 45th. Here's a breakdown of the draft spots being represented in the Top 36:

Draft spots 1-5: 18 teams
Draft spots 6-9: 10 teams
Draft spots 10-14: 8 teams

No. 1 - 5 teams
No. 2 - 5 teams
No. 3 - 4 teams
No. 4 - 3 teams
No. 5 - 1 team
No. 6 - 0 teams
No. 7 - 3 teams
No. 8 - 5 teams
No. 9 - 2 teams
No. 10 - 2 teams
No. 11 - 2 teams
No. 12 - 2 teams
No. 13 - 2 teams
No. 14 - 0 teams

** 8 of the top 9 teams in total points all drafted from different spots. They included: 2, 4, 8, 13, 1, 5, 3 and 9.

** Troy Young remains in the top spot in the overall competition for the third straight week, but his TOPDOGG team had Tom Brady and Randy Moss on the bye week last week and now Adrian Peterson is out with a knee injury. Good luck down the stretch Troy.

** There are no more undefeated teams in the NFFC's main event as Brent Grooms' Cool From the Wire lost in Week 10. The NFFC regular season all-time record is 12-1, shared by several teams during the first three seasons.

Good luck all in Week 11. There are now just three weeks left in the NFFC regular season.

It looks like we don't have any more undefeated teams in the Auction Leagues either as Shawn Childs' C.C.'s Desperados lost for the first time in the Las Vegas $1300 Auction League. The Desperados look like they could set an all-time auction league point total record this year, but an undefeated season is now out of the question.

GA, do you have the data/desire to show how the draft positions shook out at this point last season?

I think it would be interesting to see the similarities/differences.

TIA
2008- Didn't finish last overall in the Classic.
2009- Didn't finish last overall in the Classic or Primetime.

TIA They were posted like we do now each week last year. I have to run now, but you can find them by going to
General NFFC Discussion
Then use the pulldown in the upper right corner to "Show Posts For Last Year"

Then go to the last thread for the time period of Week 10 and you'll see the same data listed somewhere there. Feel free to post the results or if you don't find 'em then I will when I get back.

Believe it or not, our little town of 1,200 is playing in the Wisconsin State Football title game today. Gotta watch it.

I now have every draft in an excel spreadsheet and I am currently breaking them down several different ways. More to come....

If you have any specific data you would like to see, please email me at [email protected] and I will try and make it happen.

I also have draft slot data from 2005 and 2006. I will post the three years together after the completion of this year.
