Wow, this is really close. Good luck all! If I would have benched Moreno this week I would have been in an even better position.

Greg, has the consolation bracket always been bunched up like this in past years?

Greg, has the consolation bracket always been bunched up like this in past years? Honestly, most of our contests through the years come down to a matter of a few points. This one appears to be no different. Good luck all. I like close races like this.

Consolation story: the years seem to blend together but I think it was 2007.
Join the Classic and have a medium to bad regular season. Put in consolation round. Have the high score for ALL main event teams in week 14 and that carries me through the consolation round and actually win a free entry into 2008. The high score in week 14 also nets me a signed Kyle Orton photo from the NFFC.
With the free entry in 2008 I win my league and end up in the Championship round. I come up 15 points short of 100k but still make a nice amount.
Without the consolation round I could have been 1 and done.

UGH did you have to mention Kyle Orton?! LOL I currently reside seven points out but have no QB since Kyle is benched, Anderson is Out and one of my fellow leagemates blocked my move on Tebow even though he was out of it anyhow lol. I like the attitude of going down swinging but since I was tapped of FA dollars, I was forced to hope Orton made it through which he didn't. Now I try to be Consolation Champ with only nine players going during the playoffs...
