12 - Team Satellite Leagues

Greg,

You had mentioned a possibility of opening up some 12-man satellite leagues. What's the latest?
Would anyone else be interested???

Daryl Yes, I can do that. I don't want to add it to the Satellite League signup list as it will confuse some folks. I'll create a special thread on the message boards for these and we'll get them going via word of mouth. Let's shoot for some mid-August satellite leagues and figure out the regular season format first. I'm not big on an 11-week regular season, so we'd probably keep the same NFFC format with 13 weeks and advance four teams to the playoffs. Depending on entry fees, we could pay off the regular season h2h champion and total points champion and then pay off the top three finishers in the post-season. Sound good?

Sounds great to me. As we discussed on the phone, I'd definately be in for a $250 league. Keep us posted.

Thanks $250 NFFC Satellite League:
12 teams, 13 regular season weeks
$250 to h2h champion
$250 to total points champ in regular season
top four teams make playoffs in Weeks 14-16, carry in weekly scoring avg.
1st Total Points in playoffs: $1,250
2nd in playoffs: $500
3rd in playoffs: $250

How about Monday, Aug. 14th? Monday, Aug. 21st? Say the word and we'll get it going.

I say set it up for 7:00 p.m. on 8/21. Lets get this thing rolling and get it filled. I'll also post over on AntSports once it gets started.

Same rules apply as NFFC 14-team satellite league with 13 week regular season and top four teams make the playoffs. We'll pay $250 to the h2h regular season champ and the total points champ and the same team can win both prizes. $1,250 to playoff champ, $500 to runnerup and $250 to third place (83.3% payoff).

I'd do a 12 or 14 team league but I want to be in either a winner take all league or one that awards all the prize money to first place and total points and best record.

Any chance we can get a league like this going? I'd rather do it on a $500+ league but would do it for $250.

I hope this thing will draw some interest as we get closer. I thought it would receive more attention.
