Fast Facts After Week 3

Post by Greenlight30 » Tue Sep 25, 2007 3:33 am

Here is my problem with saying that it is a failure. NOT every player gets their projected stats. LJ, SJax and LT haven't performed as EXPECTED. When you select that player you aren't given a certain amount of points since you took that player with the first pick. I see that "these" players are making 3RR unfair but what if LT at this point had 10 Touchdowns and a player that most teams got in RD 2 or 3 were doing good? I think 3RR is very fair but because the breaks haven't gone the early picks way yet your going to have to manage through them.

...SNAKE Very true but the risk here is that 3RR will be judged on how the top 3-4 players play this year.

...SNAKE Sorry serpent, but it has EVERYTHING to do with the top of the draft or there would be no reason to level the playing field.
...sorry, sorry 4ex but it's NOT about picks 1,2,3,4 but rather picks 28,29,42,43, etc...why you and others fail to see this as the obvious is beyond SNAKE but he will simply refuse to get into yet another War & Peace-like thread debate on the 3RR factor here under any circumstances, thank you...SNAKE
Snake, you are wrong, but that's ok. It has to do with the reptilian brain not advancing as far as the mammalian brain and the whole reasoning process being a little less (well, a lot less) lower on the evolutionary ladder. Not a problem as you were meant to be that way. It's in your genes. Suffice to say you are incorrect and you won't ever be able to understand why. It's genetics, slithery one.

well, has it been negated?...on the surface (AT THIS POINT IN TIME for the season with all of it's surprising twists and turns have yet to begin) SNAKE's own opinion from scanning some of the LT2 rosters (and others) is that it certainly looks like 3RR has done the trick - no "WOW, not fair, that team will surely not be beat" squads appear to have been sighted yet...in fact, most of the teams with the top 5 picks seem to be as balanced as the the ones with the bottom 5 picks (although the makeup of their squads are radically different, naturally)...now, this is NOT scientific proof that 3RR has done it's job here but merely an observation on The Serpent's part as to the preliminary scanning of rosters in the Main...one thing is for certain though; without 3RR, all of the 364 teams would have taken on a radically different look (uhm, like in previous years)...SNAKE realizes that Greg will chime in on this very subject here with more concrete data shortly but any non-scientific thoughts or opinions on The Serpent's musings here?...SNAKE
