Welcome to the industry's first national championship for Draft Champions League participants. The NFFC will unveil live 14-team league drafts in New York, Las Vegas, Chicago and online on Friday, Sept. 3rd with a guaranteed $10,000 grand prize and league prizes of $3,600. Top seven spots overall will receive cash prizes as the prizes are based on seven full leagues.
Draft Champions Leagues will be held on Friday morning and late afternoon in all three cities and online with a cost of $850 per team. Owners draft for 26 rounds and the computer picks its optimal scoring lineup each week. The team with the most points after 16 weeks wins the league title. The team with the most points among all leagues wins the $10,000 grand prize.
These rules are still tentative and everything is still being added to the web site, but here's a quick look at the concept. There will be no Internet connections or electrical outlets, so participants bringing laptops will have to supply their own power. Cell phones are allowed at the draft table, but we encourage participants to use them sparingly and not in a way that interrupts the draft process.

We will do this in each city for all of the leagues. In 2010 Draft Champions Leagues, we'll also implement the Kentucky Derby Style process to allow owners more draft preference. The KDS process allows owners to rank their order of preference for Draft Day, ranking their preferences 1 through 14 BEFORE the leagues are selected. If an owner wants the third pick if he is selected No. 1 overall in his league, he would choose that option and he would then be moved to third in that league on Draft Day. NFFC officials will look at every owner's Draft Preferences after the leagues and orders are randomly selected and then announce the draft orders for each league. Once each NFFC owner has officially signed up for the contest, they can find this feature in their game site under My Settings. Then click on Draft Preferences and you'll see the Draft Order ranked 1 through 14 and the option to change those preferences next to them. Once each NFFC owner has officially signed up for the contest, they can find this feature in their game site under My Settings. Then click on Draft Preferences and you'll see the Draft Order ranked 1 through 14 and the option to change those preferences next to them. If you decide not to rank your preferences, your preferred order will remain 1 through 14. Owners can change their Draft Preferences right up until the announced deadline is set.
In 2010, the NFFC will also use 3RR (3rd Round Reversal) in all its drafts. The draft will go in order from Team #1 through Team #14 in the first round and then come back in reverse order in round two (Team #14 through Team #1). The third round will go back down to team #14 to start and then continue in serpentine fashion from that point on through the remaining rounds until every team has compiled 26 players. Each participant will have one minute to make a selection and the clock will begin for the next pick after the sticker has been placed on the large draft board.

Rewarding the Whole season. No playoffs. Total points is highly rewarded. Best team over the ENTIRE season wins .... and nothing but Love on the message board for the event holders.

BTW ... I would like to see you take $50 bucks out of first place money and buy/make a cool, small, cheep trophy/paper weight/potato masher with it. But that's just me.

All of our national champions will get customized trophies after the 2010 seasons and we'll honor you in the various cities on Draft Day 2011, just like we do now for our Classic and Primetime champions.
