Trendsetters 2012

Post by Coltsfan » Sun Feb 26, 2012 2:09 pm

Here is my team through 11. I'm pretty happy with who has fallen to me.

QB:

Josh Freeman
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Sam Bradford

RB:

LeSean McCoy
Peyton Hillis
Mark Ingram

WR:

Victor Cruz
Jeremy Maclin
Steve Johnson
Danny Amendola

TE:

Fred Davis

I was the last one to take a QB as they just flew off the board early so I felt like I needed 3. Of course everything can change by September so this is just educated guessing.

Here is my team through 16 rds of Trendsetters 2012....

QB-Dalton
QB-Sanchez

RB-Chris Johnson
RB-Bradshaw
RB-Gearhart
RB-Green Ellis

WR-Welker
WR-Jordy Nelson
WR-Williams(tpa)
WR-Vincett Brown

TE-Witten
TE-Danials

K-Nugent
K-Folk

D-Giants
D-Saints

For the most part I am happy with this team. I do have a few regrets...I could have had Desean jacksoin instead of Mike Williams and I had a chance to draft eric decker as well. Not to mention just missing out on Tamme today by 1 pick. I do like the Law Firm signing as a bengal fan and also for my trendsetters team.

Glenn, that's a solid start for a 12 team league let alone the Classic style. Nicely done.

Here is my squad after round 16:

QB: Cutler (I was pretty sure the Bears would secure one or more real WRs, maybe Marshall puts Cutler in the top 10?)
QB: Flacco

RB: Jamaal Charles (I need him to be huge)
RB: Tolbert (Carolina? Not what I was counting on)
RB: Taiwan Jones (Can McFadden stay healthy? Does Bush move on?)

WR: Fitzgerald and Andre Roberts (was hoping PM would choose the Cards)
WR: Crabtree and Super Mario (was hoping PM would choose SF, strike 2 / Didn't really want to see Moss go there but..)
WR: Steve Breaston (really like him as my 4 or 5 right now)

TE: Gronk / looks like I need a line something like 150 receptions and 27 TDs for me to compete.

PK: Gould and Succop

DEF: Seattle

I also have rookie picks 2 and 7. Right now it looks like both will need to be RBs?

Okay, not all of the teams are as bad as the ones listed above... :D

QB:

Freeman
Fitzpatrick
Bradford

RB:

McCoy
Hillis
Ingram

WR:

Cruz
Maclin
Steve Johnsonn
Amendola

TE

Fred Davis
Pitta

GB, ATL, Gostkowski, Dawson

And yes I had the same number of early picks as the rest of these guys! :D

As Wayne was saying......

QB: Tony Romo
QB: Ben Roethlisberger
QB: Matt Cassel

RB: Matt Forte
RB: Darren MsFadden
RB: Steven Jackson
RB: Jonathan Stewart

WR: DeSean Jackson
WR: Anquan Boldin
WR: Lance Moore
WR: Austin Collie

TE: Heath Miller

K: Matt Prater

D: San Francisco
D: Houston
D: Pittsburgh

I'll agree, some may have better QB's, some probably have better RB's and WR's, certainly most have better TE's and K's; but what wins Championships.....that's right, DEFENSES!
