I see your point, but I believe Welker's happened early in the 1st quarter against Houston. Pretty sure they had a bye, which means it would of been a 3 week layoff hadn't they played anyone (I don't fault them for that one).
This situation is ridiculous though.....Belichik would chew his right arm off before he admitted that he made a mistake.

That "Mentality" is the reason why I love having Brady and Co on my Fantasy teams -
The Gronk owners were NOT complaining when he scored that second TD in junk time - and I certainly was happy for the extra points Welker got me -
