Agreed. That was a terrible game.

Like everyone else here on this thread, was expecting a shootout obviously. i own 1-2 falcons pass catchers on about every team. i'm also going against brees in a lot of leagues this week. so i can at least take solace in that but i don't think i watched a game all season that was this unexpected from a statistical standpoint.
I agree Chris.

Thank goodness I have Matt Bryant on about 1/2 my teams because everyone else tonight in this game that I own (except Gonzo in a few leagues) was absolutely awful.

5 ints and ZERO TD's.....yea, that was exactly what everyone thought. Ryan had a TD and no picks, but wasn't much better fantasy wise.

What a dud. :(

As someone with a small number of players in this game, I thought it was awesome.

I just can't even understand what I just watched. I was so sure this game would result in a ton of points across the board for Brees, Ryan, Roddy, Colston, Julio, Sproles, Graham, etc. etc. Instead I was sitting here wishing I had Matt Bryant and the Falcons D instead. I kept waiting for one drive by either team to salvage something, anything. I must know absolutely nothing about this game.

Here are the scores from tonight, with the stats from Week 10's NO/ATL game in parentheses:

Bryant 15 (9.7)
Turner 15 (1.5)
Ryan 14.05 (37.75)
Colston 13.1 (11.6)
ATL DST 13.0 (3.0)
Brees 12.05 (31.8)
Graham 9.9 (33.6)
Thomas 9.9 (2.6)
Jones 9.8 (11.5)
Sproles 9.7 (DNP)
Hartley 9.2 (7.1)
Ingram 8.2 (6.7)
Rodgers 5.9 (10.2)
White 3.0 (18.4)
NO DST 3.0 (3.0)
Ivory 0.4 (15.5)

TOTAL 186.3 (255.25)

27% fewer fantasy points just three weeks later -- exactly as we all expected!

I'd say let down game of the year and I don't even own a ton of Saint or Falcons (Roddy hurt bad though)... it was hard to watch from beginning to end... Guess I'll have to be bailed out by the usual studs of fantasy football *stares at Peyton*

Just brutal... the one guy I don't have in any of my leagues, Matt Bryant, outscores:

Matt Ryan
Drew Brees
Marques Colston
Jimmy Graham
Darren Sproles
Julio Jones
Roddy White

Yeah, I am calling out sick tomorrow.

Two dynamic offenses, an historically bad defense along with one not firing on all cylinders, in a dome on turf.....this could be fun.

Week 13, my teams all peppered with Saints and Falcons, several playoff spots in play.

I'm hoping for a conservative 112- 111 final score. :)

Glenn Bryant showed up 14 weeks too late for you

It's all because the level of play on Thursday night is simply not up to par. These teams get three days of rest, hardly practice, and are ill-prepared and out of sync.

In short, Thursday night games suck for a reason. Meanwhile, my Fantasy season is circling the drain with Ryan, Brees, Sproles, Roddy, and Colston all coming up short and costing me a shot at winning my leagues.

Thanks a lot, NFL.

I totally agree. These Thursday Night Games are a complete dud and a farce for the NFL. But it's raised the value of the NFL Network and got Time Warner Cable to finally buckle under the pressure and put them on their regular cable packages, so what the hell do the owners care? It's worked perfectly FOR THEM.
