I think Shanahan is a very good head coach. His track record is proof of that. But I'm not sure he's had a really good RB since he traded Portis. Frankly, I think the Portis trade was a mistake. They've been scrambling for years to replace him and it's not like their defense has been stellar with Champ Bailey.

2. I wouldn't play Taylor against anyone. In fact, I cut him a few weeks ago in my main league. I think he's toast. It's a great matchup and he could do well because the Lions are truly awful, but I see nothing in his play that leads me to have any confidence in him. He looks washed up to me.

Tom - what do you think about some of the more interesting games this week..........

Denver @ Cleveland on Thursday night - how does
Brady Quinn do in his first start? Who do you think wins the scoring duel of bad defensive teams?

Green Bay @ Minnesota - will Rodgers be able to torch the Vikings secondary? Will ADP go off against the Packers rush defense?

Carolina @ Oakland - will the Raiders get shut out twice in a row? or will SeaBas kick an early FG to get them off the schneid?

Tom, not trying to stir the pot, but I feel this wed.faab deadline really does stink......Player don't start to practice till wednesday, so your not getting a fair shake..Again Im not trying to get into the hurricane Ike battle,but there is no way to look towards the future and maybe having a friday drat for these weeks?

-Does Bryant Johnson regain his job with the new coaching staff in San Fran?

-Is Chris Chambers a weekly must start in your eyes?

-What are your thoughts on Tyler Thigpen? I have not SEEN him play much. As good as his numbers?

-What have you heard about E. Grahams injury?
