Just a reminder to take a look at our NFFC Post-Season Contest rules as you prepare for the NFL post-season. This is a fun, very strategic game with a pair of contests at winnable odds. We already have close to 100 signups for the $100 game with a $20,000 grand prize as demand could exceed expectations there. That would be good.
Anyway, check out the Rules and you secure a team at any time by going to Home, Signups. Credit cards won't be processed for this game until after Week 17 of the NFL season. Thanks and good luck all.

Re: Rules & Prizes For 2013 NFFC Post-Season Contest
Hey Greg,
A few questions about this contest:
1- what is the roster requirement for the SB? As rosters drop from 12 to 8, Im not sure how roster requirements change.
2- Do we HAVE to draft TEs?
3-This sentence on the rules got me confused - section 7 Hold Em Multipliers
Any NFL player that receives a first-round bye and remains on your roster automatically has their points multiplied by two during their first game.
Why would an NFL player that is on a first round bye be on anyone's roster during the Wild card? Can you clarify?
Lastly, do you know if Matt Flynn has another "20 million dollar contract" game in him? We could use one this Sunday.
Thanks,

Frozen Tundra, let's get a win this week in Big D. I don't know if Matt Flynn can do it, but that's a bad pass defense he's going against. Let's hope for the best.Frozen Tundra wrote:Hey Greg,

Thanks,
1. Your 8 players in the Super Bowl can be any of these positions:
Starting Lineup Requirements: Starting lineups will consist of:
• 2 Quarterbacks
• 4 Running Backs
• 4 Receivers (includes Tight Ends)
• 1 Kicker
• 1 Team Defense/Specials Team
So you could start 2 QBs, 2 RBs and 4 Receivers if you wanted. Those 12 spots listed above will be available and you can fill in with any combination of 8.
2. There is no spot designated just for Tight Ends. They are included among the 4 Receiver spots.
3. To start out, you MUST pick one player from each of the 12 playoff teams, thus you'll have four players on first-round byes. If you keep them on your roster for Week 2, they will automatically start out at 2x their scores. So if Marshawn Lynch was one of your RBs, he would be idle in Week 1 and receive 40 points in Week 2 if he scored 20 points that week.
I hope this helps. GO PACK GO.

Re: Rules & Prizes For 2013 NFFC Post-Season Contest
Just a heads up on how this NFFC Post-Season Contest is going to work this year: On Monday around noon CT all NFL rosters will be made available on your team pages. At that point you can set your Week 1 starting lineups and change them throughout the week. However, the Week 1 starting lineups do lock 5 minutes before the first game on Saturday, so lock your starters in before then.
Everyone in the contest will have 12 players in Week 1: 1 player from each NFL playoff team. That means that 4 of your starters will receive byes in Week 1 and will get 2x their score in Week 2 if you keep them on your roster. You adjust your roster in Weeks 2, 3 and 4 and continue to get multiplier points every week a starter remains on your roster and is alive in the NFL post-season. Good luck all and look for our new draft software starting next Monday afternoon. You'll like the new software.
