Okay, we're nearing 30 people for the poker tournament already and counting. Keep the commitments coming.

I'm still waiting for the official rule and guidelines, but my contact there has agreed to a freeze-out format with no buy-ins. And we'll make sure the tournament ends by 2 am PT. Thanks all and good luck.

General Rules
1. Players will start with $10,000 in tournament chips.
2. Each level will last 15 minutes.
3. Registration will be open until the end of level 2.
4. All $100 of each buy-in will be added to the prize pool.
5. No re-entries allowed.
6. 10 minute break at the end of level 6, 12, and 18.
7. Winners will be paid in funds loaded to each player’s playMGM NV sports account.
8. Management reserves the right to cancel or change tournaments.

What a great way to end a full day of drafting than with a poker tournament with friends in the Bellagio sports book. It doesn't get any better than that.

I would just like to thank everyone who participated in the NFFC-exclusive poker tournament at the Bellagio on Friday night. We had 46 participants and we distributed $4,600 in prize money. Jeff Clampitt won the tournament at 3 am to earn $1,500. Congrats Jeff.

But best of all, it kept a great group of NFFC owners together on Friday night in a fun, fun environment. The Bellagio folks did a fantastic job of organizing this event and running it for us. To see 5-6 tables of just NFFC owners playing poker in the Bellagio poker room and having a blast together was exactly what we had hoped for. I have a feeling this concept will grow in future years if we can continue working with MGM Resorts.

In fact, I'm already talking with them about this for baseball. Stay tuned as it's still a work in progress, but something I'd love to see come together in March.

Thanks Greg for getting this together. It was great fun hanging out with the NFFC family for a few hours at the poker table and I'll answer your question.....I'm definately not the best poker player but on that night I was the luckiest!
