Glenn currently has a 13.19 point lead over Larry Schechter with Chad Schroeder in third place. Larry won $20,000 during the regular season for best h2h record and most points, but we'll pay the winner of the Championship Round another $62,000 for winning the playoff title. We are now down to four teams left in the Championship Round of the NFFC 14-Team Ultimate League after Stephen Stith was eliminated in Week 16. The lowest scoring team from the Championship Round in Weeks 15 and 16 got eliminated, leaving us with four teams battling for the top prizes in Week 17. Chad Schroeder already had a bye into Week 17 as he won the regular season's best h2h record and most points title to earn $10,000. He currently trails Brian Zeid by 14.93 points heading into the money round with John Pierce and Austin Greco right behind. We'll pay the Top 3 teams after Week 17. Here's the current standings:

Chad Schroeder has a good shot at being our 19th different NFFC Classic overall champion as he holds the top spot in the Championship Round with one week to go. We have had 18 different Classic overall champions during our first 18 seasons and this would be Chad's first Classic overall title if he can hang onto the lead.

He has a 47.13 point lead over his other team, while 2021 NFFC Classic overall champion Kacy Kliment is in third place, 51.38 points out of the lead. Randy Mechels and William Dandridge round out the Top 5. It's interesting to note that Chad's top two overall teams each finished second in their league, but he has one other team still battling in the league playoffs for the top spot. These 14-team leagues can be tough, no doubt.

We are paying $16,000 to each league champion as all of the prize money this year stayed within each league. The Classic overall champion will earn a FREE 2023 NFFC Classic entry valued at $2,000, plus the notoriety of winning our signature event's overall title.
