I'm ready to sign up, Tom/Greg, but want to know what the scoop is in Dallas first before picking my city. We are working with Brady to try and secure a spot. I can tell you that we are looking at the WinStar Casino as a possible venue and something around Cowboy Stadium. Yesterday we got another lead that we are going to pursue, a hotel near downtown. We want to make Dallas special and so we're working with Brady, who lives there and has his own TV show with Randy White, Brady James and others, to help us. But we need to finalize Dallas soon or we'll lose all momentum from this site.

Give us a few more days. We're sorry for the delay, but it's time to narrow our three options down to one. We'll do that soon.

Thanks to everyone who came in big-time for our NFFC Early-Bird special. We didn't get the signup page live until mid-May, but in less than a month we topped 100 signups for the Classic and 80 for the Primetime. We've also filled a Super, an auction league and a DC and we're close on another Super, an Ultimate and a Diamond League. We're off to a great start and we have our NFFC die-hards to thank for that. Good job all and let's keep things moving forward.

It's interesting that mgt. believes that the 14 team market is softer than the 12 team market. Looks like there is a stronger interest in 14 teams vs. 12 teams according to sign-ups. Most of the 12 team entries are 14 teamers going for a double.
Too bad no 14 team online championship....it would have had more interest than the 12 team online.

With more than 500 teams in the Online Championship last year, we feel we made the right decision with that format. But as always, we'll continue to look at everything going forward and make whatever changes may be necessary.

The good news about the Primetime is we're getting a lot of good interest with new participants jumping in for that event. As Greg and I have said, we think one of the best ways to grow our event is to have the 12-team option available as well. The early returns appear to bear that out.

But as always, the goal is to sell out both events and make both of them exciting for all of our participants.

Any word on progress of the 12 team ultimate the 2nd weekend after the diamond? Is that still a go even though it is not listed here? Thanks.

Yes, the 12-team Super and Ultimate leagues are still available for that second weekend in Las Vegas and online if the demand is there. If folks feel that there is a better time to do these, let me know and I'll make it happen. Heck, if folks want to do these on Thursday I'll host them. You folks let me know. The payouts are as good as you'll find and there seems to be interest in these price levels, so let's do it. I know it's a busy, busy weekend out there, but if we can fill 'em you know we'll run 'em. :D

Chad, as you mentioned in your email, I'll put you on the list for this one and see where it takes us. Sound good?

Am I seeing this correctly? ZERO signuos for the Auction Championship from Boston? Wow, Gillis, Dawson, Frisella...None of you guys are in? I was considering the trip to Boston since its drivable, but unless I see some signups in that city, I'm not giving up my spot in NY.

Let's go Boston! If you guys don't represent, there won't be a second year in Boston. Signup!

With the Boston DC being on Fri. afternoon, maybe most folks would rather head over to Fenway for the CHI/BOS game at 7 than have an Auction draft? (I'm one of them ;) )

Greg, please put me down as a possible move from 5pm to 12pm in the NY/Citifield Auction Championship...KoQ called me to talk smack and he scared me so much that I might have to move from one league to another...lol...Seriously, I think I'm going to be off from work for a few weeks at that time and an earlier draft would be better. I will stick with the 5pm if the other doesn';t fill.

I actually would change to a Boston draft if that was a possibility now that I should be free to drive anywhere for this event...How far of a drive is it to Chicago?
