Billy,
Just to give you a heads up...us railbirds refer to that "grass on the track" as turf. Just a tip for your trip to the most beautiful track in North America! Also Trackside is nice but actually go to the track during a meet, it is mighty impressive!!!
On a serious note, do yourself a favor and stay in Schaumburg not in Rollings (Ghettos)Meadows. Schaumburg has everything and there are many hotel choices just a few minutes from the track. If you bring wife/kids there are plenty of options for them to do while your drafting too! Enjoy, think I'm going to Vegas this year.

1 out of 3 in the NFFC...if only this were baseball. I'd be a H.O.Fer

Great to hear that you're joining me in Las Vegas Pat. I look forward to meeting you. Awesome news.

Are you working with any hotels for Chicago?
If not, I may sleep right on the grass on the track! Nothing in the works Billy. Pat is right and Rob likely could give us good recommendations as well. The Sheraton is next to the track, but it was closed when I was down there. If that reopens I'll see if I can get us a room block. But until then I'll let the locals give us a good recommendation.

Lots of other options nearby though.

I was hoping he just meant you moved there this year for FF, Rob. I wasn't thinking he meant move as in permanently relocate. I was hoping to get to meet you in Chitown this year but it will have to wait another year. Don't worry though. I promise to have Greg post the pic on the FANBALL page of me cashing my $20,000 winning Pick 4 ticket at Arlington.

Just saw your messages on the PM Rob,as well as one i got from Tom yesterday, but i never got emails on them.I replied to you and Tom,let me know if you recieve them please.Might be a glitch with the new site here, dont know.
Anyway, good news for you Rob,hope you enjoy your time in Buffalo.
BTW,you are required to have a beefonwick sandwitch while there, its their law.
And Tamuscarecrow,if i were drafting at the track,i would love your company there,as i have never been able to handicap thoroughbreds.
I hope NFFCers take all the tracks money on draftday.

Sounds like a winner, TOMDOG. I'll be the first to tell you the tracks in the U.S are way ahead on taking my money but I have my moments and I have a feeling my first trip to Arlington will be one of them if Chitown is the choice. It's between Vegas, Chicago, and Dallas as to where I will be drafting.
