He doesn't have T.O. taking his catches away anymore. Should be interesting.

49er literature said they wanted Eric to get 100 receptions?
Damn, what did they predict for Barlow, 2500 rushing yards?

I bet that the 49ers are looking for Eric Johnson to catch 100 balls and I bet that they are looking for the team to win the Superbowl but they will find neither. What they will be looking for after the season has played out is someone to help them decide who to take with the 1st overall pick in the draft.
It is always prudent to believe a player's own projections and a team's predictions b/c they will never err on the optimistic side.
Packers trivia: Back in the day, what was the largest # of interceptions that Terrell Buckley predicted that he'd get in a single season?

I agree that Johnson should have a decent season this year since the SF QB's have nobody else to throw to. I've got to say I'm disappointed that my 107 bid wasn't enough (I only had Pollard at TE), but the guy in LV2 that had Graham and Chamberlain decided Johnson was worth 305.
Then I got Patten for 107 instead. Go figure.

Jealousy will get you nowhere, guys. Dyv, you're just jealous because I told you Gonzo was a slow starter and he's off to a good start at making my prediction good.

Tamuscarecrow,
Your prediction of Eric Johnson doesn't seem to be to far off. In fact, he just might have a 80 to 100 reception season with what has happened in his first four games. So far he has 28 receptions over four games. I don't feel so bad wasting $500 on him now. I would definitely have bid $500 to get Gonzalez if he had been on the waiver wire and Johnson is putting up better numbers each game. Anyway, it is too bad that the rest of my team sucks. By the way, do you have any other good predictions for me like.....will I win the lottery this year?

Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?
