Use KDS with this and you'll see lists all over the place.
We're talking about enhanced draft strategy here.
A concept that is simple to explain.
You're welcome. Good call UFS
I proposed this last year ... everyone I talked to about this on this MB thought it Hurt the #1 pick too much ... many thought it would be too hard to decide which slot was better ... the #1 or the #14.
I thought that was the point ... personally this would make things fair enough and should really make everyone happy but the guys who want a built in advantage for someone.
Mike [/QUOTE]Mike, don't remember, so sorry about stepping on your prior post.
It's the 3rd round RB that makes LT teams so good, not LT by himself.
Loved your last comment.
There would be no debate over which pick was best over this method.
It's funny, you can tell who has the personal agendas and who doesn't just by the lack of response here. Kudos to KJ for not being one of them.
As you know, I have my commish hat on here.

In conjunction with KDS, the "3rd Round Reversal" seems like an equitable compromise to me. I actually like it -- a lot.
Now the big question: does it have a snowball's chance in hell of happening?

Mike Well said Mike. Since Greg has moved away from the BBDS train for now, I like this option for leveling the playing field.
John, do you believe this idea is acceptable to the masses, or would you expect them to throw every lame excuse in the book at this idea too to protect their secret hopes of winning the slot lottery?

Greg, if you're reading these threads, please chime in on this one.

I too think this would make it more fair, i too like it a lot, some people might want a late pick with this , where others still would like a top pick. The way it is now , its a no brainer everybody wants that top 3 pick.
GREAT IDEA.
GREAT IDEA.

FAAB isn't messed with. I know Greg didn't like faab messed with.
It adds more strategy to KDS.
I KNOW MDC can handle it because I just did a hoops draft there that was 1-15, then 15-1 all other rounds. Worked like a charm.
It doesn't mess up sticker boards.
I don't see a problem with the masses. It's not that different than current set up.
At the end of the day, it still comes down to choosing the best players, but the certainty that Fisher talked about with early picks is thrown out the window and is now the same for all picks.
Owners get a real good feel for picks 26-31. They already have their RB. Those 29-31 picks would be 40-42, and have the same uncertainty as picks 12-14 did this year.

GREAT IDEA. After 7 years of doing this in hoops, this is what KDS first choices looked like this year. The fun thing is that we debate which end is better. Some like the middle based on dropoffs. Remember that it's 15 to 1 for all rounds after round one.

Hey John, I think a thread that didn't include the phrase "flip-flopping" might be more appealing to people ...
... er, on second thought, maybe it wouldn't
no, no, I think it would

Wow....I just flowcharted the first 5 rounds. This new idea is a brain twister with KDS...lol
I like it alot !
The only problem is that it took 373,484 posts to come up with something that maybe everyone can agree on in regard to Draft slots
hehe
