Rodgers has had a great "start" to his career.... He is a great QB. Brett Favre and Bart Starr (I saw him play) are legends. When Rodgers wins 5 chamionships or plays in 297 straight games, or gets remotely close to those feats, maybe there is a comparison...

I could bring up stats. Favre 508 career TDs to 132 for Rodgers. 71,000+ yds to 17,000+ yds. Favre played in every game for 17 years, 3 MVPs. 11 Pro Bowls. Over 70 individual NFL records. And From 1994-2004 Favre had 339 TDs and over 42,000 passing yds. But sure, yup, Rodgers in his less than 4 years as a starter, is definitely proven to be better. I have no reason to question your credibility. Oh by the way, Jose Bautista is one of the greatest home run hitters of all time......

We could all wait 15 years and then compare the stats. That would be a nice, concrete exercise. That's obviously not what I'm trying to do here. I'm predicting that Rodgers will be shown to be the greatest QB in Packer history, not that he's proven to be.
Impressive job posting past numbers. While you're at it, go ahead and post what the stock market did over the last 10 years. That's easy, just like posting Favre's stats is easy. Now tell me what the stock market will do over the next 10 years. A bit harder, huh? Putting yourself out on a limb with a prediction. That's what I'm doing with Rodgers.
If you can't conceptualize that point, then there's no use continuing this debate.
And if you want to compare current stats, here's a tidbit from Peter King of Sports Illustrated, who posted this yesterday:
Rodgers' year, by most or all measures, is a better one than Brett Favre had in any of his three MVP years, 1995, '96 and '97. Favre was, in touchdown-to-interception ratio, 38-13, 39-13 and 35-16, and Rodgers' completion percentage, yards and rating this year were better than in any of Favre's three years.
I'm not saying that this proves anything. Rodgers will have to continue this year after year to surpass Favre, and I think he will. I'm simply saying that it's my opinion Rodgers will eventually be recognized as the greatest Packer QB ever. Sorry if that ruffles your sensibilities.
