This is fun! As of 1/18:

1-SJax- healthy and looking to rebound
2-LT- still very good
3-Addai- consistent scorer, Colts won't trust KK
4-Westbrook- depends on McNabb, subject to drop
5-Grant- Dorsey Levens reincarnated
6-ADP- depends on Taylor, subject to jump
7-Brady- will the drive be there to justify spot? High risk/reward
8-M. Barber- takes over and doesn't look back
9-M. Lynch- a stud with some WR help, watch offseason moves
10-R. Moss- Not 23, but 16-18 TDs likely
11-R. Wayne- move over Marvin, time to shine
12-LJ- Too many damn ?????s to have him higher
13-TO- still a stud, beware of Witten cutting in
14-MJD- Time for role reversal with Freddy T.

Fringe players:

Graham
Portis

Early '08 bust potentials:

F. Gore- Martz, really?
B. Jacobs- Bradshaw, Ward too much to fend off

There you have it!

is Derrick Ward an unrestricted free agent? I thought I read that somewhere. seems like he'd want to go to a less crowded backfield.

There you have it! I agree Grant could/should be in the first round as I was at work and made my list pretty quick.

I CANNOT see Lynch making it into 1st round territory. He is VERY talented, but their offense is limited, and if you double team Evans and stack the box, he only has so much upside IMO.

So my top 14 (1st round) in no particular order (for NFFC) right now would be...

RB- LaDanian Tomlinson
RB- ADrian Peterson
RB- Brian Westbrook
RB- Steve Jackson
RB- Joseph Addai
QB- Tom Brady
WR- Randy Moss
WR- Terrell Owens
RB- Marion Barber
RB- Ryan Grant
RB- Frank Gore
WR- Reggie Wayne
RB- Larry Johnson
RB- Clinton Portis

So much will change from now until the start of the draft, training camp, season, etc. but being able to talk about football and have/hear different opinions right now is great! :D

BW, I put Lynch in there with the expectation the Bills get a top line WR. It seems to me that is a glaring weakness that they can fix.

I cannot see Gore anywhere near the top 10 for the same reasons you mentioned for Lynch. Plus add in Mike Martz as OC and his numbers drop even further.

I agree, off-season banter fills the void.
