This kind of dumb drafting reminds me of something Lloyd Bentsen said I was already going to have to deal with a week of A. Smith next week because of the week 3 byes to both Davis and Martin (yes I knew Martin had the same bye as Davis when I took him, but there was no way I was passing on him in the 3rd.) I also put in a substantial bid for Lamar Gordon with the plan of playing him in weeks 3 and 8 (McAllister’s bye.)

I’ve noticed teams putting far too much emphasis on not owning players with the same bye weeks. (1) There are NO bye weeks in weeks 14-16. (2) The name of the game is total points scored, so drafting the best player available is the way to go. (3) The FA wire is there to address the bye week issues as they arise. I venture to guess that the final-32 will be riddled with teams that had a number of their top players on the same bye weeks.

PS I feel sorry for TamuScarecrow citing the likes of Lloyd B., if you want to compare yourself to that winner have at it.

Nnoy, Martin's schedule in Weeks 14-16 are as follows: Pittsburgh, Seattle, NE. Not very choice.

Tamu

Did you just get back from your yearly exam? I'm sorry the doc's fingers are so big, but you don't need to take it out on everyone in Chicago #3.

I don't remember crossing messages with you before so we'll just go with the Dr. theory for now.

By the way - I think your league also has a MB -

Sincerely
Bozo the clown (#7)

Your “undraftable” list also included the NFL’s leading receiver last week, did it not?

actually s.smith went at 3.12. as it turns out, one pick before me. at the time, i was pissed.

if he made it to me, he would have been mine. my season would have been lost after week 1. good thing the owner before me picked him. gotta get lucky i guess.
