I realize the situation and all but, how can you put your team in this position so early? This year will be no different. RB's will be taken early, and in abundance. The teams that will take WR's early and QB's early will be scraping for any RB that will get carries. Those teams will be the ones bidding 1000 on a RB that MIGHT be a sleeper. If Lamar Gordon panned out and was a Monster, the people that bid that much would be boasting how they knew what they were doing and we all missed the boat. But that's the roll of the dice we call fantasy football. ;)

[/QUOTE]Amen!

In the CHI/Vegas Auction League ... C Garner was hurt week one ... we also had M Bennett who wasn't comming back as soon as we thought ... and Staley who was loosing TD's and rushing to BETTIS (who would have thunk?)

We were OK when we had Garner ... but without him ... we had a hole until Bannett came back (not to mention bye weeks).

993 on L Gordon

IF Gordon puts up average numbers for a starting RB ... we are in the playoffs ... and we spend 2005 telling everyone how brilliant we were !!! ;)
