Snake i had 5 nffc 7 nbc 2 wcoff
Westy at 2 thought Barber but couldnt do it with a full point per reception. Barber i wanted at 5 and 7 , got him at 5 but gone in the NBC.So at 7 it was Gore or Moss and went Moss.
Now 2nd round wanted Wayne Marshall FITZ Edwards Colston A Johnson Plaxico.Did good here getting my first choice in the nbc with WAYNE and then my 2nd choice in the nffc main with Marshall. In WCOFF passed on Portis to get Plaxico at 2 11, stick to the plan. MOSS and T .O i wasnt expecting in the 2nd rd.
The 3rd round wanted Calvin Johnson then Witten or Romo Brees OR Manning if the slide. WCOFF got Calvin , in the nffc main took Witten [calvin gone] In the NBC Romo was there and couldnt let that value go.
GUYS I REALLY WANTED AND got in a couple leagues
Desean Jackson
Kurt Warner
Kellen Winslow 5 leagues the most
Eli Manning 4 leagues
Plaxico
Marshall 4
R wHITE
Forte 3

The Targeted Player Plan
Snake... I didn't really target too many guys individually. I had Calvin Johnson above where most folks probably did and I preferred MBIII to Addai, SJax, and Gore. Other than that, I try to target value rather than reach for a certain guy or position. Of course, it's nice when those two things coincide. That's when you come out of a draft feeling good, and then your teams usually implodes!
What I can tell you is this. There was definitely a "do not draft list"... SJax and LJ were at the top. Not to say they won't rebound this season, but I didn't like either one going into draft day. Of course, I did sort of target Javon Walker and that looks brilliant at this moment!

The Targeted Player Plan
My "targeted" players in general:
SJax @1.04 in NBC- got him
Barber or Gore @1.08 in NFFC- got Barber. Set my KDS so I could land one of these 2. Was worried when Gore went @4, but 1.07 took Brady, so I was smiling.
In NFFC @ 2.7 I was between MJD and Marshall. I took MJD, jury is still out.
I was happy getting 2 of any of these WRs:
Marshall, Burress, or Jennings. I got the latter two.
In the 5th Rd. of NFFC I was between Roddy White and Jeremy Shockey. I took White and hope he gets better as the season rolls on.
My plan was to get 2 top RBs and then get 3 WRs who I thought were undervalued. I did get Burress and Jennings, so I feel pretty good about those 2. R. White still has a chance.
In the NBC, I wanted to pound each round with Best Player Available.
The 2nd Rd. will be my achilles heal. I was between Braylon, Colston and Marshall. I rated all 3 in the same tier due to Marshall's suspension. I chose Braylon and that could cost me.
From there, I made a few mistakes. I had some players on the radar and made the wrong choice as it looks today.
It's a long season, so we'll see how it goes from here...

The Targeted Player Plan
Just rereading my post and in the first round in the nbc between Moss and Gore i actually took Gore, not Moss. With no Brady what will Moss put up this year.
If he gets frustrated and doesnt get enough touches like last week could he just quit again.I hope not as i own Moss in one league.

The Targeted Player Plan
I mostly targeted Calvin J. in 3rd and 4th. Cutler was my target for 6 or 7th. If I didnt get him I waited another rnd and took Eli. My top KDS was 1-3 and targeted Peterson or Westbrook. Seeing ADP I felt it was a huge advantage to pick in top 3. You could draft a stud RB and still get 2 studs WRs and decent RB with top 4 picks. Lee Evans I targeted for my 3rd wideout. Thomas Jones was my choice for #2 RB. Plans worked out well as I drafted Westy in 2 leagues, peterson in 1, Calvin in 2, T. Jones in 2, Evans in 2, cutler in 1, eli in 3. All but one of my teams is kickin ass right now. Football is fun again as my beloved Buffalo Bills are respectable also. Targeted Buffalos def in latter stages as well. I was in small minority of people who thought Bills would be a Playoff team this year. GOOD LUCK N GOD BLESS!!
The Targeted Player Plan
We were targeting Brandon Marshall in the mid 2nd and Andre Johnson in the early second. We wanted Calvin Johnson or Santonio Holmes in the 3rd. Michael Turner or Willie Parker in the 4th. Matt Schaub and Kevin Walter in the 8th or 9th. Last but not least, Kris Brown in the last round.

The Targeted Player Plan
I had Gore 4th overall but drafted 2nd and 8th so I missed him in both leagues. I pre ranked my players and stuck to my list. Didn't really have anyone targeted but had a couple of guys higher then some of the other owners had them. I had Cotchery and Scheffler high and those are the only 2 players I have on both teams.
