I checked the doubletree and embassey suites across from dwight stevens in Chicago and they are sold out already! Do we have any special rates, or does anybody know what else is close?

Yes that would be cool. I think wayne and jeff know that area well. I'll ask them. I have a feeling we may have to stay closer to o'hare airport. Too bad. I heard there is a good steakhouse there at the doubletree.

Marriott, Crowne Plaza, etc. are $129 a night.

Sheraton (2 miles away) is $110 a night.

Good thing for "grandpa Clampitt", many of these hotels offer discounted rates for seniors! ;)

Sofitel is right across the street and even has a skywalk to the convention center and is 115/night. They have rooms available. I'm going to go ahead and book it right away.

Are we looking at Thursday the 3rd and checking out Saturday the 5th? I couldn't remember the dates of the draft. Also, is there a draft Saturday night?

I just got a room for two nights for $192. Its probably our best bet if we want to stay close to the convention center. Just put SOFITEL Chicago Ohare in your search.

I prepaid. They had a discount for that. I think it was called a superior room. And the dates I booked were sept 4-6.

Wayne Wayne,

Was planning on having the LIVE auction DC Saturday night after the NBC Primetime.

Obviously would love to have you and Bob in. Then again, my ROI goes up if you aren't there...hmmmm???
