You're probably right Billy, as they'd need to both end up top 10 like last year's did. Not likely. Top 20 though? Within reach.
FAAB Week 5
Torain went for 868/666 in our Classic! 707/547 in Primetime. 650/566 in Online. Wow! Good luck with that.
We've been burnt before by the evil Dr. Shanahan. Not only might he slide Hightower or Helu in over Torain at the last minute, but hell, he might even bring some nobody up from the practice squad in front of them! No thanks!

They may be2 of the better pickups of the year, but they can't carry your team like Lloyd and S.Johnson did last year. Neither are the #1 option on their team like last year, or will get the consistent weekly points. [/QUOTE]agreed

Spent big on Gresham in the league i didn't have him after someone released him last week.
Taken a shot on Austin Pettis - the latest to come through the revolving door of Rams WRs. I liked that kid at Boise so maybe he does something.

FYI - This was the week to get a ticket on the Mark Clayton train for CHEAP!
He's out till Week 7, but with Amendola OUT FOR THE YEAR and the rest of the STL WR corp sucking, i think it's a decent bet that mr clayton will have a pretty good second half. maybe even top 20 wr in 2nd half.
in 4 games last year, bradford gave clayton:
37 targets; 22 rec; 300 yards; 2 tds
over 16 games, that's 148 targets, 88 catches, 1200 yards, and 8tds...good for 256 points (which would have placed him 8th overall last year for WR).

fyi - he was so under the radar this week, that i didn't find him until about 10 minutes till the deadline, then i had to research him. nothing like buying a lottery pick with a couple minutes to spare.

ALL ABOARD! Really surprised he didn't draw more attention. I got him in 7 leagues from $1 - $259 depending on the need.
The backup bid on the 259 was only 37 but if we're right it's a great bargain!

PS - one of the 4 games clayton played last year, i believe he was matched up against Nnamdi Asomugha. IF you remove that game and count the other 3, his stats were:
33 targets; 20 catches; 276 yards; 2 td's. over 16 games, that's 317 points.

ALL ABOARD! I put anywhere from 20-40 on him and didn't get him anywhere.
You get him for $9.......all about league placement I guess.
That being said, could be good, but it is gonna take him at least a couple weeks to get up to speed, and I heard week 8 is his return.
Which means you have to hold him for 3-5 more weeks, before the rewards COULD happen.
For $9 definitely worth it, if you can hold the spot for that long.
