Here's to Booker...

A good choice considering the matchups. Could be a good spot player if Fiedler stays healthy enough to remain the starter. Feeley is plain terrible!

Another reason to add another roster spot. as someone noted a while ago, that a good % of the "extra" players would be 2nd TE, 2nd K, and 2nd Def.

I'm not going to comment on roster size as that subject has been bludgeoned, (sigh of relief, Vegas?) but Booker's numbers are interesting. 39 targets, 17 catches. Obviously he's getting lots of looks because of Chambers and McMichael, but the qb's in Miami are terrible. If one of them can get consistent, this could be a very good pickup.

I see another Staley/Bettis situation here. Anyone with Griffin will be happy from here on in with his yardage, but Droughns will be brought in for short yardage and goal line situations. If Griffin can pop out a few 15 yard TD runs, you won't have to worry about Droughns coming in to steal the score. the only issue with what you "see" is that Bettis can't handle a full workload. he is only effective for 1 or 2 yards on the GL. Droughns, on the other hand, can handle a full game, as last week can show. he could be the complete package, ala T.Davis, M.Anderson, O.Gary. Griffin had his chance and he failed. we'll see tomorrow... [/QUOTE]I'll leave this argument for tomorrow. I've been telling this to every owner who's been saying Bell will be the go to guy in Denver, and now I'm telling you, Griffin will get most of the carries tomorrow. If Shanahan had common sense like Parcells, Droughns would be the guy starting tomorrow. Just like Butch Davis letting his team suck like a sour lemon because he's got loyalty to William Green. Suggs should be getting 30 carries a game to pace that offense and rest that defense.
