Chicago draft report

Guys,

It was great to meet you all. I wish i would have hung around and gone to the Boat. I spent a couple of hours at the OTB and then headed home to pack the old car for a trip. I almost hit a huge one at the OTB. First race I bet the tri, I put a horse on top who was something like 29-1, then I put two of my four other horses I liked to place and then those four horses to show. The friggin horse wins but one of the horses of the four I had to show came in second/place (another long shot) and one of my remaining four show horses did. The tri paid 5500 but I missed it because I did not want to spend the other 8 dollars. It was all downhill from there.

Nice to meet you all and good luck this year.

In the DC you are going to need a load of luck to beat me!

In the main event I am going to need more luck than I hoped for going into this darn thing.

Where do I begin? this was by far the best experience of any of the drafts I have done. Rocky and the crew were top notch. The auction was flawless. It was great to meet all of the guys after the auction and putting the faces to the names, Route C, BillyWaz, UYT, Tamuscarecrow, Joe, Brian, Gerard and many others. You guys are a real class act. I wish everyone luck this year, with the exception of UYT, since they are in Chicago 3 with me, well some luck, maybe 2nd place luck.

Not sure if anyone will read this, but better late than never, right? I must say it was great to meet everyone and put faces with names/monikers. This years draft was definitely more fun for me since I got to stay longer than a day and also made some new friends(in person).

The DC was a blast drafting with Rick and I am quite glad he was able to make it due to his circumstances. I hope he had fun, other than having to deal with Mr. WR Crazy Man.

Going to the OTB was interesting, I haven't ever been to a place like that before. I just wish I could've jumped in with Daryl and Joe so I could've won some $$$$. I guess I should be happy with my $7.40 I won.

Wish I could've made it to the game with you guys on Sunday, but since I never see my family, they were a priority. Plus I got to spend the day in the city, which was definitely an experience.

Well I wish all a good season and look forward to spending more time with everyone who travels to N.Y. next year.

Go Chi-town in the 3 City and Grudge match!

BTW, turdburglar, what pick were you???
