Who's Coming To The 2010 NFFC In Boston?

Hey Greg - We are in the final week before announcing draft spots and leagues. The Classic is at 10 players right now.

What happens if it stays at that number or less than 14?

What is the plan for the Prime-time league? Will you have a handful of owners at 2-3 different tables drafting over the phone with other players from different cities?

Thanks Greg just want to understand the plan. Nelson, we're still working on a few owners who say they might come to Boston. We'd love to get a full league for the Classic in Boston, but it's been tough as some folks switched to NY and Las Vegas in the last week. But we're going to host this in Boston and make this work even if we have to hook up with another city to make full leagues. As for the Primetime, we'll look at that when we have the final numbers, too. I understand the concern about competing against the same guys and I'll figure this out.

Just an FYI for those staying downtown: We do have a special $34 parking pass for people who are staying at the hotel and we'll have $17 day passes for those just driving in for the drafts. We'll work with each of you to get those passes on the day of the drafts, so look for Seth and Todd at the draft and ask for those stickers if you need them. Those are a fraction of what parking would cost downtown otherwise.

Let's keep pushing in Boston. Four more signups and we can have full leagues there in Beantown.

Okay Boston, we now have 11 owners for the NFFC Classic there as Peter Varellas of Adams, Massachusetts has jumped into the 14-team main event. Peter is an NFBC member who is glad the football event is in his backyard. He's jumping into the NFFC for the first time and looking forward to this main event.

We have THREE SPOTS LEFT and we're still talking to a couple of past owners. Let's see if we can make this a perfect 14 in Boston and be done with it. This is a great, great group of owners already and we'd love to add a few more to the mix.

Here's the lineup card for the Boston Classic:

BOSTON
Radisson Hotel Boston
Saturday, Sept. 4, 1 p.m. EST
1. Frank Mammola, North White Plains, New York
2. Eddie Gillis, Jamestown, Rhode Island
3. Nelson Sousa, Saugerties, New York
4. John Hogan, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
5. Raj Patel, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
6. Joe Treffiletti, Sunrise, Florida
7. John Rundle, Pembroke, Massachusetts
8. Michael Cole, Franklin, Tennessee
9. Salvatore Vella, Staten Island, New York
10. Johnny Frisella, Exteter, Rhode Island
11. Peter Varellas, Adams, Massachusetts

Just a heads up for those owners coming to the Radisson in Boston, we have day parking passes for $17 that we can give you at the draft. That's a pretty fair price for downtown Boston. And for those owners staying overnight at the Radisson, we have $34 all day parking passes. Just ask for these at the draft.

Seth Trachtman of Fanball.com and Todd Zola of Mastersball.com will be running the Friday and Saturday drafts. We'll give you Seth's contact info via email once we have Boston finalized, but I know you're in good hands with these two guys. Now let's get a few more owners to close out this Classic League and then we can GET IT ON!! :D Good luck all.

welcome pete , nice to have you in. I'm sure you can get that when you check into the hotel Frankie. I'll tell my contact there to have that or Seth will have that. Just park your car, check in and the pass should be there.

Working on one more signup for the Classic in Boston now. One more tentative as well. Let's do it guys. Let's do it.

Welcome aboard David Deterra, another Jamestown, Rhode Island member who is staying closer to home and drafting in Boston. We now have 12 owners in the Classic and 10 in the Primetime. Just a heads up that due to state law we can't keep the bar open for one long extended time period. So what we'll do is have the bar open from 1 pm to 4 pm ET on Saturday and then from 5 pm to 9 pm.

Hopefully this works for everyone.

Will the bar be open in NY the whole time? Is it too late to switch?
