one correction. hitting the east coast poker scene right now, based in long island and AC until my SN gig is up Aug 28. Then its FF and poker 24/7..i'll even get my 3yr old to help out..step one is gettin him a favre jersey! gotta give jets ownership props here regardless how it works out...and no i wont be drafting mary's college sweetheart in any league :) Awesome Larry. That's right, you hit Las Vegas on the 28th and then stay there for about 10 days. Sweet. Enjoy.

I can't even LOOK at a Favre Jets' jersey right now. Some folks had them on at Monday's pre-season game at Lambeau Field and I almost threw up. Oh well. But you are right, props to the Jets' management for stealing the thunder from the Giants and the rest of the NFL and creating excitement for the upcoming season.

Okay, don't be afraid to jump into this thread tonight and provide some comments. Honestly, did anyone ever think that 135+ of our die-hard customers would jump into both ends of the main event doubleheader? :D I mean, really, I knew we had a nucleus of dedicated fantasy football players, but I just can't commend you folks enough for jumping into both of these events and creating such a buzz for the $1 million bonus. It will be a BLAST to follow folks in both Championship Rounds this year.

Great job all. Okay, I budgeted 100 for both events. Anyone else want to provide how many teams they thought would do both main events once they saw the $1 million bonus?? Just curious if you want to post tonight. I'm working late and could use the companionship!! :D

Greg, considering the dreadful state of the economy, YES ! Can you imagine the sign-ups , when the economy turns around ? This is a great sign of things to come, You should feel proud, customer service is the reason it happened it my book .

Let's keep it going as we add yet another owner on the list for both ends of the NBC Sports NFFC Primetime main event. NFFC veteran John Rozek of Chicago, Illinois will be joining us at the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center on Saturday, Aug. 30th for the NFFC Classic and the NFFC Primetime main events and the shot at the $1 million bonus. We now have 138 owners doing both main events, which means this competition is going to be INTENSE!!! :D Awesome and thanks for the support once again John and best of luck.

We now have 139 teams entered in both NBC Sports NFFC main events as we welcome another industry writer to the competition. William del Pilar of Escondido, California first joined the NFFC in 2004 and rejoins us four years later in a big way, grabbing main event entries in both contests in Orlando. Awesome. Thanks for the support once again William and good luck in the hunt for the $1 million bonus.

We now have 140 teams doing both NBC Sports NFFC main events on Saturday, Aug. 30th as we welcome Gino Yu of Rowland Heights, California to the 2008 contest. Gino is an NFBC veteran who has had good success in baseball and this year he's trying football for the first time, jumping into both main events. Awesome and best of luck Gino in the hunt for the $1 million bonus.

Is this fun or what?!! :D

Congrats Greg - you guys deserve it for all the hard work.

Frankly I thought you might go over 100 because the smaller size of the new event giving better odds the first year.....but 140 now and likely 150+ by the time you finish is Great :D

And some of those recent signups are Tough competitors - Rozek, LarryG and del Pilar have done well in the 12 team WCOFF format (please find another table to draft at in Vegas guys)

Greg:

CHIP is ready! With a 15% discount from NFL.COM he tried very hard to have me order him a FAVRE jersey in J-E-T green. It was his way of getting back at you for featuring his "Big" Sis on the NFFC picture scroll. ;)

I told him if he REALLY wanted to make that honor roll he had better pick another team! He went for a new EAGLES jersey and will be shining that smile out to Jan & Claire for equal time. Auction on Friday and a double feature on Saturday. Sack & Chip are anxious to make this a go!

I've almost forgotten WESTBROOKS knee. Almost.........

We now have 141 teams who are signed up for both ends of the NBC Sports NFFC main event doubleheader as we welcome NFFC veteran Michael Makula of Chicago, Illinois to the second half of the doubleheader. Mike was already registered for the NFFC Classic and today he added the NFFC Primetime main event at the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center. Awesome Mike and best of luck in the hunt for the $1 million bonus.

Sam Hendricks of Nellysford, Virginia will be working in England over Labor Day weekend, but that's not going to prevent him from missing the NFFC this year. Thanks to the phone option, Sam is going to compete in both NBC Sports NFFC main events on Saturday, Aug. 30th and compete for the $1 million bonus. Sam becomes our 142nd team to compete in both ends of the doubleheader as he just added the NFFC Classic to his weekend of fun. Thanks Sam and best of luck in your work and in this competition.

Wow, is this going to be cool. :D
