Who Is Competing In Both Main Events?

We're now up to 143 teams doing both ends of the NBC Sports NFFC main event doubleheader as we welcome Collin Laufenberg of Scottsdale, Arizona to the second half of the ultimate fantasy football doubleheader in Chicago. Collin was already signed up for the NFFC Classic and we're glad to now have him on board for the debut NFFC Primetime 12-team event. Thanks Collin and best of luck in the hunt for the $1 million bonus and both $100,000 grand prizes.

Sal Cataldo of Elmwood Park, New Jersey becomes our 144th team to compete in both ends of the NBC Sports NFFC main event doubleheader as he will be joining us in New York on Saturday, Aug. 30th. Sal is familiar with the NFFC, having been the co-manager with Michael Edelman in the past, but this year both guys are taking entrants in both main events. Awesome guys, awesome. Welcome aboard Sal and best of luck in the hunt for both $100,000 grand prizes, both $5,000 league prizes and the $1 million bonus.

We're glad to welcome one of our past grand champions to the 2008 NBC Sports NFFC main events as Artie Rastelli of Hoboken, New Jersey has signed up for the ultimate fantasy football doubleheader on Saturday, Aug. 30th in New York. Artie was the winner of our first $100,000 check as he won our debut National Fantasy Baseball Championship in 2004. Artie becomes our 145th owner to compete in both main events. We now have 146 teams competing in both NBC Sports NFFC main events on Saturday, Aug. 30th and a shot at the $1 million bonus as we welcome Scott Burkhardt of Wantagh, New York to the festivities. Scott has been in the NFBC the past few years and is jumping into our football contests for the first time, grabbing spots in both main events. John It looks like 10 first-year members are competing in both events, which means 136 NFFC veterans are back for both ends of the doubleheader. Pretty amazing.

We're glad to add another team to the list of folks doing both ends of the ultimate fantasy football doubleheader as the lovely couple Bret & Nancy Borg of Mesa, Arizona have added the NBC Sports NFFC Primetime main event to their weekend of fun. Bret & Nancy have been with the NFFC since our debut season of 2004 and they were one of the first people I met in Las Vegas as they volunteered to work an auction league for us before our debut main event. Now they're in three events -- both main events and the NFFC Draft Champions League -- with a shot at the $1 million bonus. Welcome aboard Bret & Nancy and I'll see both of ya in another week.

Kevin Rogers of Davie, Florida becomes our 148th team owner to grab spots in both NBC Sports NFFC main events as he's going to be drafting out of Orlando. Kevin was an original NFFC member who returns after a one-year absence and he's coming back in a big way. Thanks Kevin and best of luck in the hunt for the $1 million bonus.

This is AMAZING. Great job all. Our latest entrant for the ultimate fantasy football doubleheader is John Barkow of Okauchee, Wisconsin, an original NFFC member who has been with us in Las Vegas each of the last four years. He's going to draft out of Chicago this year and we're glad he chose us as his last minute choice. Thanks John and welcome back.

Now we're cruising tonight.

We now have over 150 teams competing in the ultimate fantasy football doubleheader as we add two more teams tonight to the list. James Tracy of Batavia, Illinois was already signed up for the NFFC Classic in Chicago and tonight James added the second half of the doubleheader in the Windy City.

Jim Ferrari was already in the NFFC Auction League, but tonight he grabbed spots in both main events, joining us on the phone for both contests. Welcome aboard guys and thanks again for the great, great support. Oh, and best of luck in the hunt for the $1 million bonus.
