Snake,

It is quite rare for a fantasy football owner to fess up to the unobvious roster mistakes they make during the year. Sometimes these mistakes will cost them a game during a week or even points that may keep them from gaining a playoff berth at the end of the 13 week schedule.

In Week 13, FI$HER played against you. This was the last game of the season and we marginally held on for the win. The night before our game, I made two terrible roster moves that ultimately did not cost us FI$HER the win against you but did cost us 24 points that would have put us into 4th overall in the playoff rankings instead of Team Thompson.

The moves were the following -

Benched Delhomme (scored 30.45 vs Eagles)
Started Aaron brooks (scored 11.35 vs houston

Benched miami D (scored 6 vs Jax
Started dallas D (scored 2 againt NY Giants, and made this move because I was going to the game on MNF and I am a diehard Cowboys fan)

If I would have kept to my gut feelings and scored the additional 24 points and finished higher than Team Thompson in Total Points and was the 4th seed, is it possible to do the calculations to see what the outcome of the season would have been in the playoffs and maybe if there would have been a different King Reptile ?

Players left on your bench Week 15...

Justin Griffith RB 17.9
Vernand Morency RB 17.4
Desmond Clark WR/RB/TE 31.5

Had you started them instead of.......

Sammy Morris RB 10.8
Joseph Addai RB 8.9
Brandon Jacobs WR/RB/TE 7.7

The new score between you and Team Thompson would have been......

SNAKE 116.1
Team Thompson 108.85

I figured you might enjoy that stat since you live in the world of "woulda, coulda, shoulda"!

To say you didn't have options is completely false. Had you played the correct players, you would have won! :(

You lost by a score of 108.85-76.7 (a margin of 32.15 points).

Kevin Jones' weekly average is 16.2, and Ronnie Brown's is 13.2. Lets just say for the sake of argument, that they EACH score 25 points (WELL ABOVE their averages mind you!)

If you replace the 50 points they HYPOTHETICALLY score with the 18.5 that Sammy Morris and Brandon Jacobs (who you would have benched) scored, that would add 31.5 to your score, and you STILL lose!!!!

I know your next EXCUSE is that Addai got hurt. Well Thompson lost Darrell Jackson that week, and NO ONE will buy the argument that Addai missing a half is more valuable than D-Jax missing the ENTIRE game.

Bottom line is that you got 14 TOTAL points out of Palmer, Roy Williams, Stallworth, and Jennings. It didn't matter who you had at RB, you weren't getting past Week 15. :(

You run around acting like you are the ONLY person who has to deal with injuries Snake! RC lost A LOT more than you this you, and I haven't seen ONE single post with him CRYING over injuries.

You won $135 (and $34 in pizza) after you invested over $2,000 in the NFFC this past year. Talk all you want how you drafted quality teams, had too any injuries, your alternate persona drafted, Xanax and rum, etc., but at the end of the day, that just SUCKS!

Other in the NFFC might not have success all the time either, but you don't here EXCUSES out of them like we do for you in EVERY league you do poorly in (and it is a lot of them!)

LOSERS make excuses....
WINNERS get it done! :D
