Ah hah, my bad. That's what I get for checking online late on a Sunday night. Let's welcome Cameron Neal of Plainville, CT. I promise to get the name right on the $200,000 check if you win it all!!!

Who's Coming To The NFFC?

Marc Quitsch of Staten Island, New York has already signed up for the NFFC's main event at the New York Hilton and now he's willing to go with the doubleheader as he just signed up for the Draft Masters League as well. We must be getting closer to training camp as guys are getting the football fever and realizing that the right medicine is adding another league to their shopping cart!!! Obviously, we're happy to have you in the Draft Masters League, Marc, as it's a good day to play two. Good luck in the hunt for the $4,000 Draft Masters league prize, and of course, good luck in the NFFC's hunt for $200,000.

We're glad to welcome another member from our National Fantasy Baseball Championship as the tag team of Jeff Dobies and Barry Vastoler of Richmond Hill, New York just signed up for the gridiron contest. Jeff and Barry are in the running for the NFBC's AL Auction League title (2nd right now) and still in line for the big prize in the NFBC, so they're busy number-crunching baseball right now. But they officially signed up for the NFFC's main event today and will be drafting on Saturday, Sept. 4th at the New York Hilton. They are the 28th NFBC team to join the NFFC, with more on the way. Welcome to the growing NFFC family guys and best of luck in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize.

It's always good to welcome another Cheesehead to our growing NFFC family, but it's even better when that Cheesehead is a member of the fantasy sports industry. Our latest signup is none other than Jeff Thomas, owner of SportsBuff.com, a leader in the fantasy games portion of the industry for the last decade. JT and his "posse" are competing in the National Fantasy Baseball Championship and are currently fifth overall in the standings at the All-Star break. Can they finish strong and take home the $100,000 grand prize??? We'll have to wait to find out. But anyway, JT will be drafting live at the Flamingo in Las Vegas and will be in town for the 10th Fantasy Sports Trade Conference and possibly golf at Royal Links Golf Club (although you could lose him in one of those bunkers). Glad to have you on board JT and best of luck in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize.

Here's another industry insider who is joining the NFFC and ready to mix it up in New York. Sam Caplan, News Editor of FantasyIndex.com and Fantasy Sports Columnist for America Online, will be competing in the NFFC's main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 4th. Sam has been a writer with various industry publications and online sites since the late 1990s and we're glad to have him as a member of our growing NFFC family. We'll even put him to work on Friday as a draft facilitator for the Draft Masters and Auction Leagues. Welcome aboard Sam and best of luck in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize.

Word of mouth has helped bring in another NFFC signup to New York as Glenn Karant said enough good things about us to bring in friend Julian Curry to our event. The tag team of Curry and Patrick Metcalf have signed up for the NFFC's main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 4th. They are new to our family of high-stakes contests, but we welcome them with open arms. Best of luck guys in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize and thanks for trusting in us.

Ah yes, the Cheeseheads are doing me proud as we have another Packers' fan joining the NFFC. John Barkow of Hartland, Wisconsin (JB on the boards) officially signed up last night and will compete in the NFFC's main event. John lives about 60 miles or so north of Chicago, so understandably he's drafting at the Flamingo in Las Vegas and spending a couple of weeks out there!!! Gotta love it, John. JB is new to our family of high-stakes contests and we're glad to have him on board. Welcome to the growing NFFC family John and best of luck in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize.

I am totally shocked that not that many Long Islanders have been signing up thus far. Living on the Island for my entire life, I can guarantee two things....Everyone I know plays in the home leagues since early 1990's and secondly, they all have the cash to drop on a high stakes fantasy football league....

Greg, you should run some spots on WFAN here in NY. It will drum up some nice biz me thinks.
