...this league will definitely remain BBDS as advertised...also the thinking on SNAKE's part from the outset regarding a playoff format here was to go 13 regular weeks, have the top six teams advance to the playoffs (the top two teams would get a Week 14 bye), and battle it out until there is a SNAKE Classic Champion Reptile after Week 16...the only factors that SNAKE would really like to take under consideration is HOW BEST to determine the top six teams to advance to the playoffs (of course once the playoffs begin it will be H2H to determine who advances)?...should it be H2H for 1ST PLACE and total points thereafter OR should it be TOTAL POINTS on down from head to toe?...we can either take an official poll on this or the comrades on this thread can feel free to post their opinions here...SNAKE is leaning towards H2H as RC suggested only beacause SNAKE is of the belief that familiarity does indeed breed contempt and there is probably nothing better than the orgasmic/europhic feeling that SNAKE would have when he knocks off one of his heated battlefield rivals (of which there are a few here that SNAKE is now salivating about just from typing this here) from winning anything loot and/or boasting rights...SNAKE I prefer this;
#1 seed - H2H Champ (total points tiebreaker)
#2 seed - Best total points
#3 - #6 seeds - Total points all the way down
I imagine with this setup, that the "losers" in Week 15 would play in Week 16 to determine 3rd place?

...this format gives top weight to the total points teams which SNAKE has always thought to be the best gauge of a team's success but equal weight in the playoffs to the H2H teams as you have 3 and 3... considering that some owners played in a league last year where the team who finished 11th in total points won the 5K loot because of the luck of the schedule you can see where SNAKE is coming from...SNAKE doesn't want to totally disregard H2H like BWAZZ as his format has only one H2H team going to the playoffs and gives them the #1 seed...if it is deserving of the #1 seed, why not have more H2H teams in the playoffs?...comments, concerns, fears, questions?...SNAKE Honestly, I am not a fan of "head to head", but I understand why you (and others) would want to use it.
I was simply using the same format they use in the auction, champs leagues, etc.
If I had a vote, it would be for total points all the way through Week 16 with no playoffs, but if "head to head" is used I was just trying to keep it the same.
I have no problem with the Gekko format as opposed to the auction format.
