LIVE SCORING....PLAYOFFS!
Wayne and Glenn have busted my timeline by about 9 hours. You guys could have at least waited until tomorrow morning to post your handiwork.
Just think how quick a team of Fanball employees could have whipped this stuff up!
Nicely done guys.

That's not to say we don't want to improve the product for everyone who takes part. We'll continue to work hard to do that. But the statement above makes no sense to me. Sorry.
It seems rather obvious to me that Russ was referring to writing off the fixes being addressed this season, not writing off the entire Fantasy Football season.

I think Russ was just stating that he is ready to finish this year and move onto next year with the programming upgrades. I didn't see anything wrong with his post.
In fact, he's so used to having the Colts wrap up their divisional title by now he doesn't know how to watch NFL football games this late in the season. His favorite team is usually resting their starters by now!!
Time to move on. The last thing Tom and I are trying to do is bash our best customers. We're not programmers. We're not even Excel users!! In fact, I'm computer illiterate!! But I must say that the work that Glenn, Rob and Wayne put in for the NFFC owners goes WAY BEYOND the call of duty and I am very, very appreciative. I kind of knew this would happen because each year you guys have come through for us. And going forward, we'll find a way to solve this post-season problem.
It looks like we'll have regular updates this week from our NFFC members and that's what we all want. Thanks and I owe you three a big one. Thanks again.
I'm going to be absolutely honest here Tom. The NFFC has the best format of any contest out there. You and Greg have been great over the years. Because of those reasons you have gotten a lot of passes this year with many of the problems that have occured. I don't think you want me to start a laundry list of the things that DIDNT go well here.
Most of the problems were things that might be incovenient but we could live with them. The problem here is that this is a MAJOR issue and neither you or Greg came on the boards to say that we wouldn't be having a championship bracket this year. It all comes about in a thread like this.
But to make matters worst both of you guys have gotten on great customers of yours in this thread because they have voiced their displeasure. Now that really upsets me! Maybe you guys should take a step back and ask yourselves if it's reasonable for us to expect to have a championship round to follow the other teams lineups and scoring. Sorry guys, I just don't get it.
For me, this is definitely taking the fun out of the championship round. Maybe everyone here is being completely unreasonable. Maybe we all have too high of expectations. My partner in the NFFC said he could make a spreasheet and update it in between games so that we know who is winning. Then he asked, why aren't they doing this? I couldn't answer that.
Sorry guys but I'm really struggling with this one. Feel free to bash me too if you want.
Wayne
Bash? Dam i applaud you greatly Wayne..someone has to have the balls to say it like it is. I would have but i have already been called out for being a whiner by the owner no less and didn't want to push it. Myself and my partner are shocked that we cant compare our team with all others in these playoffs live or without going back and forth like its 1998. I don't get this one bit, how could this not be taken into account and made right long ago? I barely know what to say as this is something that HAD TO BE ADDED IN FOR SURE. This should have been something the owners made sure was done long before ever asked for by the customers. The smallest of contests out here all have live playoff scoring for all teams and most one one page. Honestly i don't know quite what to say about this unbelievable snafu. All i can say i guess is what i did already, we were shocked to find this was the situation and we could not see all teams scoring live and compare them to ours on the same page.
What made the FFOC so good(ran by fanball incredibly) was the live playoff scoring and cut-line update action come Sundays and Mondays night during playoff time. A great deal of the fun and excitement is now missing from this contest. That contest would not have been nearly as good without that great feature. I guess its a shame it went down after a few years hopefully it makes a come back in 2011. I really did enjoy the playoff format and the live scoring cutline action and excitement it created and the live scoring function had a great deal to do with it. That contest was run by Fanball and it had a great playoff live scoring feature and for hundreds of teams at once..it was incredibly good actually. I must wonder why Fanball could not or have not yet done the same for this NFFC contest?? I'm sure Chad S. and many others understand what i am talking about here as far as the FFOC contest playoff live scoring feature is concerned.
The NFFC is a good all around product/contest but it seems like they are asking a lot from there best customers to accept this and just hope its made better next year. Seems to me they are taking advantage of a great customer base because they know how much there rules are liked by them. I say that because if I or most any of the top players had any say in the running of this contest Im positive the playoff scoring would be as good or better as all of the other high stakes games. I must wonder why Greg and Tom dont feel the same way and if they do why wasn't this made right? Is it a matter of cash..would it cost that much to have it done right? Jeez we are all paying over $1,400 bucks a piece for this..thats high class cash for a FF contest.so i say we should get treated back in a high class way and have a great high class live scoring feature to enjoy come playoff time. Whats in place now is worse than unacceptable imo considering the high fees for this contest.
Come these last two weeks we will have to check the top teams line ups and right them down like 1989 i guess? OK then let me go before i get called a whiner again by the owner here. I am sure im rambling on at this point but this thread and situation just should not be and things need to be said.
Again Wayne way to stand up for whats right and say it like it is. Its exactly what i was thinking when i read your post you got me to reply and lets hope you are not called out for that.......
Good luck to you guy and too all the rest in this and all other playoffs you may have going the next two weeks!

So can we now assume that there are no Fanball elves working in the background to deliver any aspect of this before this season ends?
