Who's Coming To The NFFC?

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Jul 19, 2004 4:56 pm

Okay, I promise not to go golfing again during business hours until our September outing in Las Vegas. But I just couldn't resist today and thus owe a few people return phone calls tomorrow. My apologies, but oh the drives were feeling good on the course!!!

While I was out playing, we received another signup for the NFFC. William and Charles Tyrer of Beverly Hills, California just signed up for the NFFC's main event at the Flamingo in Las Vegas. The Tyrer tag team also competed in the National Fantasy Baseball Championship and they are the 31st NFBC team to rejoin us for football. Welcome to the growing NFFC family guys and best of luck in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize.

Who's Coming To The NFFC?

It was a busy night of signups, so let's get to the new ones right away. Kevin Handy of Brooklyn, New York has signed up for the NFFC's main event at the New York Hilton and will be joining us on Saturday, Sept. 4th. Kevin, an accountant who said he took his time before signing up because he wanted to check out all of the high-stakes contests first (as you can tell he found ours was the best), is new to our family of high-stakes events and we welcome him with open arms. Thanks for joining our growing NFFC family Kevin and best of luck in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize.

We're also glad to welcome back a familiar face to our gridiron event as Chad Meyer and Parnelli Baker have signed up to compete in the NFFC Auction League in Chicago. Chad and Parnelli are members of our National Fantasy Baseball Championship and we're glad to have them back for the football contest. Chad is making the drive to Chicago from Columbus, Indiana. Best of luck guys in the hunt for the $4,000 first place prize.

Here's another signup for the Auction League as Chris Schinker and his son Collin have decided to double their pleasure in Las Vegas. Chris and Collin have already signed up for the NFFC's main event at the Flamingo Las Vegas, but they will now come into town a day early to compete in the Auction League. Both are NFBC members, so we welcome them back again to the football contest. Best of luck guys in the hunt for the $4,000 first place prize in the Auction League.

Let's give it up for the tag team of Stanley Agbulos and Alfred Agbulos of Riverside, California, who just signed up for the NFFC's main event at the Flamingo Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 4th. Stanley competed in a different high-stakes event last year, but we're glad to have him as our latest new member of the NFFC. Welcome to our growing family of serious fantasy football players and best of luck guys in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize. See ya in Las Vegas!!!

I go back quite a ways with this guy, so it's a pleasure to welcome him to our high-stakes contest. Let's give it up for Scott Newman of Princeton, New Jersey, who has just signed up for the NFFC's main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 4th. Scott works with Bloomberg News and he was one of the first "mainstream" writers to write about our Fantasy Sports Trade Conference way back in 2000. Scott will be teaming up with John Melfa for the NFFC draft and with any luck we'll talk him into the Draft Masters League, too. Anyway, welcome to our growing NFFC family Scott and John and best of luck in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize.

Now this is the kind of work day I like to come to!!! Let's give it up for yet another NFFC signup today as John Hughs of Springfield, Virginia has just agreed to participate in the NFFC's main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 4th. John is flying solo at the draft table and is new to our family of high stakes events, so we welcome him aboard. Best of luck in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize John and thanks for joining our GROWING NFFC family.

We're glad to welcome the husband-wife team of Bret and Nancy Borg of San Diego, California, who have just signed up to compete in the NFFC's main event at the Flamingo in Las Vegas. A couple that plays fantasy football together stays together, isn't that right?!! Bret and Nancy are new to our family of high stakes events, but we'll put them right to work when they get out to Las Vegas as they are willing to help as draft facilitators during Friday's Draft Masters League and possibly the Auction Leagues. Should be lots of fun. Welcome to our growing NFFC family, Bret and Nancy, and best of luck in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize.

Dave Gawron will be wearing the home colors of CreativeSports.com in September when he joins us for the NFFC's main event at the New York Hilton. Dave is currently competing in the National Fantasy Baseball Championship along with three other CreativeSports.com teams and he thus becomes our 32nd NFBC team to join us for the football event. We're glad to have you back with us Dave (who is from Woonsocket, Rhode Island) and do the CreativeSports.com team proud. Welcome to the growing NFFC family and best of luck in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize.
