Be prepared cause your Guinea pig GAMERS league will have alot of feedback coming when we are done... I actually would have not minded being Guinea Pigs and some us suggested that for last week's original draft date. But, to wait a week for this?? When we were told they didn't want us to be testers, they wanted to get it right? [/QUOTE]It obviously wasn't close to being ready for last week's draft. Re-thinking if I want to hop into the $125 for Sunday.

I love the NFFC, and I feel VERY badly for Greg and Tom as they have to be on the front lines, and this isn't their fault.
However, the NFFC said the site would be ready on JULY 6TH. They kept delaying the "unveiling" (we still can't see stats from last year! ) because they wanted to get it right and get all the bugs out. Obviously that isn't the case.
I think it is time for RYAN to come on here and do some explaining. Are the IT guys at say RT Sports that far superior to those at Fanball, is Fanball "shorting" in this area? What is the deal???
All you need to do is read Bald is Beautiful's post, and that is what people are thinking. So if Fanball is "skimping on the backend" to save a few bucks, it might be time for Ryan to realize where the priorities are.
If this is harsh.....good! I went through this crap in baseball, and I'm not even in this draft, but it sucks to see friends of mine suffer when there have been over 4 months to get it right!

From a functionality standpoint, the software has held up very well tonight.
As the person in the room with our "Gamers," I am well aware of their complaints, but I can tell you that the draft room is doing what the draft room is supposed to be doing. yes we can draft players. that is what it is meant to do. However the experience is just terrible.

Geoff, several times we have had to stop because folks have clicked 3 or 4 times and the "software" did not give them their desired player.
I'm not even going to go into the the fact I can't even follow the draft or figure out when I am up. I will do that later.
Listen, the fact I have time to post many times on the MB during the draft, tells you something right there.

I too love the NFFC and like Greg & TK. If I didn't care for this contest, I wouldn't be so frustrated!!!!

To Geoff's point, the site itself is working with no real lag and such however the functionality, amd user friendliness has much to be desired imo.
The obvious response would be that we'll get used to it and it will grow on us but seriously some of the items you'll hear about should not have come from designers and operators that have been in the industry for years.
So much wasted space for ads. Why do any of us in a draft need an ad? we already paid, we are customers, we don't need to be sold? What we need is too not have to toggle between available players and draft summary among other things which you'll hear soon enough. BTW 150 minutes in and Rnd 13.

i usually don't chime in however im definitely down on nffc this year.. i did a wcoff sat draft recently and the draft software they use is very good.. im a fan of greg and tom, but im losing faith here ... if it wasn't that i couldn't be in vegas this year, i would probably have played in wcoff and ffpc.. i hope things get turned around..couple these problems with fact that i have to draft in flushing NY instead of Atlantic City is horrendous.. i'll suck it up this year.. i won't do it next year unless changes are definitely made..
