Can you see this scenario? He appeals. The appeal process takes a lot of time. He plays weeks 1, 2 and 3 vs Giants, Denver, AZ. Appeal gets denied. He now misses the next 6 games which are LA, GB, SF, Wash, KC, ATL or worse....takes even longer and you don't get him for your playoff weeks. Ugly situation all the way around including perhaps some stuff that hasn't surfaced yet. Or....the appeal takes all year and you now have a draft day bargain! Yeah - let's go with that one.
