people being very quiet on free agents this week. cards close to chest.

My point though is this: last year's top QB (Rodgers) averaged 28.6 PPG. The 14th ranked QB was Campbell, who only averaged 19.5. That's 9 PPG difference on one single player (meaning, you can't offset a weak #1 w/ an above-average #2 like you can at RB/WR). Plus that doesn't even account for the fact that, though Campbell might've ended up 14th, he probably wasn't projected preseason to do so. Therefore, guys who WERE drafted as starters - like last year's Palmer, Ryan, Hasselbeck and Garrard - did NOT end up in the top 14, and averaged even LESS than the 14th best, more like 17 or 18 PPG.

So given that the QB position, though we only start one, can make a 7-10 PPG difference to your team, I respectfully disagree that we're not in a QB-focused league. IMO, due to 6-pt passing TDs and only -1 INTs, I think it's extremely important to have a top 7 or 8 QB who can help your team average 24-29 PPG or 7-10 PPG more than those who don't care about QBs.

Aaron Hernandez will be my prediction of best pick up this week in leagues he is available.
It looks like they have alot of confidence in the rook.

Pettigrew will get some looks after last week too but on a much lower scale

Tolbert and Snelling are still available in my classic league so for a one week play Tolbert will be good and Turner owners should've learned something last week however I think the real play at the RB position is.......or......

I picked him up last week in most of my leagues.

Portis is running on fumes and could be done by midseason. Injuries the past couple of seasons have really taken a toll on him.
