And I did say besides last year Buff plays NE tough. Take a look at prior years. Its usually close. How long can NE get production out of guys over 35 on defense. NE gets the SB hangover this year. Sorry to get off subject but had to stand up for my Bills. I dont see Pats as usual dominant team this year. Father time and free agency catch up this year. I KNOW YOU LOVE YOUR BILLS WAHOO AND I RESPECT THAT AS I BEEN A STEELER FAN FOR 25 YEARS. HOWEVER TO SAY THEY ARE EVEN GOING TO GIVE NEW ENGLAND ANY TROUBLE IN THE DIVISION IS NOT REALISTIC.
THE BILLS ESPECIALLY ON OFFENSE HAS ALOT OF HOLES. THEY NEED A ANOTHER RECEIVER TO SUPPORT EVANS AND HE IS EVEN INCONSISTIENT ALOT HIMSELF. THEY ALSO NEED A QUAILTY T.E. TO HELP EDWARDS OUT.
THEIR DEFENSE IS BETTER THAN MOST PEOPLE THINK BUT IF YOU OFFENSE ONLY SCORES 20+ POINTS 4 TIMES OUT OF 16 GAMES YOU DEFINITELY GOING TO HAVE PROBLEMS I DON'T CARE HOW GOOD YOUR DEFENSE IS.
TO BE HONEST I REALLY DON'T SEE THEM GENERATING ALOT OF POINTS THIS YEAR.

The problem is that because New England went undefeated for 18 straight weeks, people will always consider them the "best" team last year.
Even though they didn't win the Super Bowl.

Question Of The Week: Can You Win With Moss?
Here's another response on the Moss question that was just e-mailed to me by an NFFC veteran:
In the four years of the NFFC, there has only been one running back or receiver to score more points than Randy Moss did last year. Tomlinson scored an incredible 458.3 points in 2006. He had the best season ever by a running back in the NFL. Randy Moss had the best season ever by a receiver. Last year Tomlinson (339.7) and Westbrook (326) led all running backs. Last year was a receiver year in the NFL, as 10 receivers scored 10 TD’s or more. I’m sure many fantasy owners will believe that they all will score 10 TD’s again this year.
This year many fantasy owners will be focusing on running backs in the first round, but a wise player will be targeting a top wide receiver. The 3rd thru 5th highest scoring running backs scored 256.3, 256.1, and 245.4 points. In the past a top running back would score 350+ points. In 2004 only 3 backs scored over 300 points led by Tiki Barber with 323.6. Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson scored 368.3 combined. Alexander scored 370.3 in 2005. In 2006 Tomlinson had his all time year, but both Steven Jackson and Larry Johnson scored over 350 points.
Typically the leading receiver would score over 300 points in a season. As Moss did in 2007, Muhsin Muhammad led all running backs and receivers with 330 points in 2004. In 2005, Steve Smith led all receivers with 338.8 points. In 2006, only Marvin Harrison scored over 300 points.
This year you could argue that Moss or Brady should be the number one pick overall. The Brady to Moss combination could be lethal again this year. The Patriot’s offense looks as potent as last year. Moss is the best goal line receiver in the league and Brady know who to look for. Randy’s number will decline this year, but he could very easily score 15 TD’s with 85 catches and 1300 yards. If he did that, he will score 305 points for the year. Will a running back in the mid first round out score him? If he did, he will need 1800 total yards with 50 catches and 17 Td’s.
So as you look at this year draft. You will see that Kansas City, Buffalo, and San Francisco scored less than 25 total TD’s each. How could you pass on a player who lead the NFL in scoring and played on a team who scored 75 total touchdowns? Moss had nine weeks with 28 or more fantasy points. He had eight week when he scored 2 TD’s or more and he scored a TD in 13 out of 17 weeks.
Moss is a solid bet to lead all receivers in scoring again this year. By drafting Moss in the first round, you have an excellent chance of getting a top five scoring running back or wide receiver this year. He won’t deliver you the league title, but he will put you in position where you have a clear edge at a position. An owner drafting a running back mid first round or later will be hoping to find a top player.
