Rick, God bless your Mom and your family. You are in our prayers here. My Mom is also in ICU with internal bleeding as a result of Leukemia. My status for Chicago is uncertain at this point. The next day or two are critical for her. I would appreciate everyone's prayers for her as well. Thanks.

A prayer for healing
God, hear my prayer,
And let my cry come to You.
Do not hide from me in the day of my distress
Turn to me and speedily answer my prayer.
Eternal God, Source of healing,
Out of my distress I call upon You.
Help me sense Your presence
At this difficult time.
Grant me patience when the hours are heavy;

FF Addict, prayers for your Mom, from my family too. A Mom will love you like no one else. I pray for good health for yours' and Rick's family throughout these trying times.

FF Addict, your mom is also in my prayers at the hospital chapel and wherever I am asking the Lord for His Healing Hand. As for my NY brothers whom I did battle with last year and will do battle with again this year, ya'll are special and I can't wait to get there next year. Thanks again to all as even though the signs were bad this morning, since I put up this prayer request her vitals have improved both times I went back to ICU to see her so prayer is powerful.

Rick......your mom WILL make it. I think even more of you now than I ever did. You've got your priorities right like we talked about earlier. I'm gonna miss you in Chicago

Mom didn't make it as she died at 1 A.M this morning but your prayers kept her with us long enough for my brother to get here from Baltimore to spend quality time with her before her passing. Thanks so much to all of you as your prayers and thoughts were greatly appreciated.
