I agree with you, Tom, which is why I hope McGahee doesn't break a big one in the pre-season. It would have the populus screaming for Travis' head and create total chaos in the locker room. It would certainly test Mike Mularkey's leadership early.

I agree. It'll be very interesting to see how he handles the whole Henry-McGahee situation.

BillyWaz, speaking of jumping into the action, we need one more for the Gekko Invitational.

Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?

Sorry that I didn't participate in this one today, but it was a hectic day indeed. Some quick thoughts to answers that Tom provided:
1) The NFLPA is working with us on the speakers for each city and we hope to announce them later this week. I like the early choices, though, and we'll work with Best Buy to secure them.
2) As Tom said, we are half full in Chicago and New York for the Auction League and Draft Masters League. Las Vegas has 10 paid entrants for the Auction League and 9 for the Draft Masters League. We certainly would like to fill one in each city and maybe two in some.
3) Yes, by revealing our paid total, everyone knows we have a lot of work ahead of us, but honesty is the best policy. Today is hopefully the start of people making their final decisions on the high stakes contests, whether that's ours or the other competitors. We've had seven signups today and we hope that trend continues over the next 14 days. Tom and I plan on calling every single NFFC member next week to fully explain everything about the prize payout and make this right. But for now it's 18-hour work days and continuing to take the calls and e-mails about our event and hopefully converting those inquiries into new members of the NFFC family.
I promise to be online tonight to answer more questions about the event. Join me and we'll have some fun.
