I do like this idea to somewhat "level the playing field", but it DEFINITELY doesn't help the 6-8 (and maybe 5-9) picks a whole lot.
I think it actually hurts them, and they are now CLEARLY the least desired picks.

I think it actually hurts them, and they are now CLEARLY the least desired picks. There's an easy solution to that little problem. In Round 4, the order is set as
5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,10,11,12,13,14
Then Round 5 continues on the original plan of 14 to 1.
Problem solved!

1) auction
2) BBDS with pts
3) BBDS with FAAB
4) KDS/3RR (KDS with 3rd rd reversal)
BBDS won't happen next season Snake, maybe not for a few yrs. This is an improvement. Jump on board.

I think every slot outside the top 3 or 4 is better off since it dilutes the edge of those top slots and gives every team a better chance to keep up with the LT and LJ teams.

In 2006, it was the top 3 (LT2, SA, LJ)
Now lets talk 2007....
Question 1) Is Shaun Alexander worthy of Top 3 pick next year even if he comes back slowly from his injury ?
Question 2) SJAX has shown recently that he is a protypical Fantasy type back who is a a triple threat (Runs, catches, scores TD's).... Are we gonna have the top 4 next year with him included ?
