He's very talented but he closed out the season poorly last season, finished with five sub-200 yard passing games and only threw more than one TD in a game once. At that point of the draft I want a sure-fire QB1 and I don't consider Flacco to be one. TRENDSETTERS is like marriage... you have to overpay to get what you want [/QUOTE]Nice. I've been a big believer in Flacco the last two seasons and he's been a disappointment. Now that I'm a bit down on him I'm sure he'll be the QB I've always thought he could be.

The QB's that went right after Flacco were Matt Ryan, Stafford, Bradford, and Cutler. Ryan has little risk but not a huge amount of upside. Stafford has huge upside but substantial risk. I would put Flacco in line with these other guys. The one good thing Flacco has over Ryan is a RB who will catch 60-70 balls. Ryan has to earn of all his yardage the traditional way. But Ryan did put up 20 points more than Flacco last year so he might have been the better choice there.

Matt - funny stuff!!!

I'd take Ryan, Cutler and Eli all before Flacco. I'd give strong consideration to Bradford but I think he comes with risk despite his considerable talent. Until Stafford proves he can stay healthy he won't be on any of my rosters next season unless the value is ridiculous.

Elli definitely before Flacco and that's not even close. Ryan yes, Cutler is very close, and Bradford I would pass on to take Flacco. I have Stafford well ahead of Flacco and Ryan. (It's funny how we look at things completely different Tom.)

Wayne Where would the fun be if we all saw things the same way?

I agree about Flacco over Bradford but I would not be surprised if Bradford outperformed him. If the Rams get him a legit go-to WR, Bradford could be a stud.

ETA - as far as Stafford I love his talent and his situation but he's the definition of brittle. I couldn't take him over more durable QBs even if they carry a lower ceiling.

I was surprised to see Jordy Nelson go that high. There is no right or wrong but he does still have Driver in front of him (I assume anyways) and Findley coming back. I can't see James Jones being a factor next year.

I was also surprised Moss went here. I have him about 5-6 rounds after this and I would probably have to make someone else type his name if I was to take him even then.

I thought Zach Miller and Jimmy Graham were good values. Santonio Holmes was a steal in my opinion this late.

We all know Snake drafts are a test of the ability to adapt as the draft goes. I was surprised Brady, Manning, and Rivers went in the 3rd round. I believe (somebody will correct me), Rodgers, Manning, Brees, Brady, and Schaub all went in the first two rounds last year in Chicago. I took Brady at 2.11 (4th QB taken), and Rivers and Romo went in the 3rd. If I was picking middle/late 2nd round, I'd have a hard time passing on any of the top 3/4 QB's. I guess i'd be zagging when everybody else was zigging. And BTW, Vick isn't one of my top 3/4. Call me foolish, I JUST don't trust him as my #1 QB.
