NFFC Content Panel: WR Rankings

Lance,

I rated Boldin my #6 reciever. I have him projected at 95 rec, 1,250 yds and 8 TD's.
Boldin is healthy and a great possession reciever. As I agree with Captain that Whisenhunt will be running more, there will be plenty of passing going on.

Thanks,

Don

This years draft is really shaping up to showcase the owners who can adapt on the fly.

Amazing that 16 of the top 20 got votes inside the top 10. I'll bet 2007 shows the greatest variation...draft to draft...that we've seen in the NFFC so far.

Don I really do like Boldin. The first thing I thought when looking over Greg's 2nd post was "I'd like to see the top 20 of the team that took Boldin at 6...I wonder how closely we rank the WR's at this point in time."

I'd like to see it, but not sure you'd post it...you could PM it to me for secrecy, but I can understand you keeping it to yourself.

I'm not a statistician by any means, but it seems to me that maybe the high and low ranking of each player should be tossed out so get a more realistic consensus??

Seems as though these overall averages would move if we did this?

I'm thinking too much, I'm sure!

I find my #1 overall down the list a tad. I hope to get him and take my chances.

The beauty of perceived-value-based drafting.

I think one thing that is interesting about the top WR is that any one of the top 15, maybe lower could be a top 5 by years end. I don't see a whole lot of seperation between the top 15, IMO.
