NFFC Champions League Draft Order

Post by Ted's Cracked Head » Wed May 02, 2007 3:06 am

I am ready for the draft. I have completed my first review of the schedule and have created my preliminary rankings (much earlier than normal) and cannot wait to get this draft going.

All of the coaching and player moves combined with a fresh NFL draft should make this draft very entertaining.

I am curious to see who goes 1.4 to 1.11

Jack: Anyone have a chance at taking the top spot from LT this year? Jackson, Gore or maybe Addai?

I agree that I can't see Joey Addai taking the top spot.

Gore and S-Jax have the best shot IMO, due to them catching lots of passes, and Gore his pretty much his entire offense! That all being said, LT is still CLEARLY the #1 IMO, and unless his leg falls off, he will be there on September 1st too!

What I am curious to see tonight is how far LJ falls.

Just seeing if anyone was paying attention. I do have Addai 4th right now and LJ and Alexander are still dropping.

Rob,

Dungy has come out and said Addai's workload "isn't going to go from 14 carries a game to 30." He thinks maybe "14 to 18 or 19."
I don't see how he'll have the opportunity to be a Top 5 back.

Of course I hope he is, as I drafted him in your league!

Addai: I think he will average 20 carries at 4.5 per for 1440 yards. Add in 56 receptions at 8 yards per and I have him close to 1900 yards of total offense. Add in 13 TDs and he could score 300 points in the NFFC this year and that would put him very near the top.

I do not see Mungro taking away too many carries or TDs but I guess he could. That IS where he excells, getting the tough yards and scoring.

I don't see Mungro taking much of anything...possible someone else will get those touches, but since we have a draft tonight, I won't name, names ;)

Mungro went to my high school and said to my brother that Addai asked for under 15 carries per game... ok, kidding about the addai asking for low carries, but Mungro is a close family friend from my high school...lol

I wish I could find some player lists anywhere that I could print and then re-do with my own personal preferences based on schedule, byes, matchups, coaching or roll changes, etc. I am busy with a new job and have not had the opportunity to prepare for this draft like I normally would...

All will be fine tonight when that pre draft buzz started at about 6:30... Looking forward to it... some great people in this draft.
